“Great place more solar lights needed”

The site was beautiful with a fantastic beach and beach bar. Staff were incredibly polite and helpful and the rooms were clean and large. Our porch area had a lovely hammock and the room had AC (when the power was on) The location was great with its own lovely beach and another amazing beach just a 7 minute walk away. A shop was a short walk away too for snacks although there was plenty available at both the beach bar and the hotels main restaurant throughout the day. A variety of breakfasts were offered and the ones I tried were all delicious.

We had a wonderful stay at Paraíso Hotel on Bicorn Island. The Dutch owners are incredibly kind, warm and involved, and you truly feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The entire team is very helpful and friendly. A special thank you to Angie at the reception! The hotel is located in a beautiful and unique spot, a true paradise where you can fully relax. One of the most special aspects is the presence of the sweet animals at the hotel. They are clearly cared for with love, and guest support really helps them, especially since animal welfare on other parts of the island is unfortunately very poor. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and the mosquito screens everywhere are a big plus. The food is delicious and there are good vegetarian options available. The beach bar is also a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overall everything about our stay was very positive, and we would definitely come back again, especially because of the wonderful owners who were present during our stay.

Paraiso has an excellent included breakfast, with different options ( Nicaraguan, pancakes and Continental), the beach is literally across the road and you can have dinner at the restaurant at the same Hotel amenity.

“For the location and comfort, it’s a solid choice”

I stayed in one of the bungalows and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was a good size, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious, with plenty of room for my things. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I appreciated that breakfast was included—it had a decent variety—and I received a 10% discount for lunch or dinner, which was a nice touch. The lobster burger was definitely a highlight! The A/C worked well, and there was also a ceiling fan for extra comfort. I really enjoyed relaxing on the porch with its hammock and sitting area. Best of all, it's located right across from the beach but still quiet and peaceful despite being surrounded by other buildings.

Ileana was the best - she had insightful recommendations for everything we wanted to do and made it truly an amazing experience!

Well maintained, lovely gardens, ha.mocks and swing chairs. TV actually had english channels. Host a very nice dutch gentleman. Right accross street from beach and a ship wreck u can snorkel to. Would definitely return here. Def order the lobster burger and a $5 cocktail.

“Nice Hotel but rooms for improvement”

- Good location on beach and lovely setting around the rooms with palm trees, hammocks etc. - Very good beach bar for drinks and good reasonable food in the Buccaneer (get the kingfisher carpaccio) - Decent breakfast with help yourself coffee and waiters were nice.

“Was okay”

The lady managing and staff were excellent help, and took care of us well. The bed was comfortable and the ac was great. Hot water showers and breakfast included. The yogurt and fruit was decent . The bungalow we had first must have mold as we both felt it in our lungs, and the bungalow smelt like mold. We noticed the roof had damage so thinking there was mold in the roof. Didn't feel very healthy to be breathing in there . Quite a far walk in to town to get groceries. You can cab for cheap. The beach is right out front with great swimming! We noticed the price jumps around lot and isn't consistent from one day to the next. For the price it was okay, not exceptional due to the mold smell and how we felt after being in the room for a day.

The cabins are very beautifull located and constructed, all though i didn’t expect to share a patio with neighbours. It’s in the middle of a lot of nature, with lots of birds and other small wildlife. The rooms were clean and spacious. It was close to a private beach, and the staff were very friendly.

Gorgeous place, excellent location from airport and boat (just $1 taxi). Very tasty pancakes for breakfast. They also offer 10% off when you get in their restaurant for lunch/dinner. Offer bicycle and scooter rental
