Great location, friendly staff - it was lovely to stay in Biertan overnight and slow down. We opted for breakfast too for around 6 euros per person and it was delicious

“Biertan. Magnificent, atmospheric Biertan!!!”
This is a rural estate in the Romanian hinterland. And there should no expectations here, as if it were a five-star hotel. It makes sense to stay here if you are interested in the town and the fortified church. We accidentally came across this majestic building, and therefore, on the way back, we planned to spend the night in Biertan. The rooms are rustic. The location is magnificent. The terrace with a view of the church is above all possible expectations. I got a lot of pleasure from contemplating the fortification complex in the evening over a beer. The day in Biertan was definitely impressively atmospheric, and will remain in the memory for a lifetime. I recommend the local specific restaurant "Taverna Antica" under the walls of the fortified church. Special thanks to the hostess Anna, who is very friendly and does very hard to provide maximum comfort to the guests.

“Good stay in Biertan”
The room was clean, the location is near the center and parking places can be found usually on the street. The view from the terrace is great, you can see the fortified church. Owner was very nice and helpful.

The accommodation did not meet our expectations. The description of the accommodation did not match what we found. Our bedroom did not have a real door, but only a balcony door, which did not close properly and could not be locked. The bathroom smelled very strongly of sewage. The common room, where the kitchen was located, was messy and dirty. An inch-thick mould had formed in a cup, the sink was encrusted with leftover food and there were traces of cat paws on the counter. The shelves were dusty and full of cobwebs and spider droppings. The whole building smelled very strongly and unpleasantly of mould and sewage. We felt very uncomfortable. That's why we left early. When we told the owner about our decision, she couldn't understand our reasons and wrote us a message afterwards saying that we shouldn't leave a bad review on this portal. We do not recommend this accommodation!

Very friendly and helpful owner. :) Very nice, large and clean room with own bath, TV + WLAN. Great view to the historical church. Pets are very welcome. :) Safe parking place. We will come back. :)

“Good for a quick stop by the beautiful village of Biertan”
Ana is a lovely host and was very warm and welcoming. Despite the language barrier, she made sure we had all we needed and showed us around her property and made sure we felt like home. Beautiful garden Great location Amazing views Good breakfast (for a fee)

Great host, very kind with clients, careful with our needs, excellent view. We had breakfast, was not included in the price, but it's a choice if you want to eat and the food is made by the host and vegetables/fruits are from her own garden. The rooms (or at least, the one where we had accommodation) are big and clean. I will come back for sure to this place. ♥️😍.
