Overview
Located in the Südeifel Nature Park, Hotel Berghof offers comfortable rooms just 400 metres from the Stausee Bitburg Lake. The hotel offers its own wellness area. All rooms at Hotel Berghof feature a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. There is either a terrace or balcony with a view of the lake. The surrounding Rhineland-Palatinate countryside is ideal for hiking, and it is a 10-minute drive to the Bitburger Land golf course. For an extra fee, guests can relax in the hotel sauna and steam bath. A breakfast buffet is provided each morning and there are several restaurants within a 2-minute drive from the accommodation. Hotel Berghof is a 15-minute drive from the A60 motorway, and free private parking is available on site.

“We had a great week. It is a great base to explore the area. The rooms are large and comfortable.”
The Manager was great. He went out of his way to be helpful, even booking a wine tour for us. Food was superb in the hotel - breakfast plentiful and the evening meals were large, tasty and reasonably priced.

We had a wonderful stay at hotel Berghof. We initially planned to stay one night, it soon became two. The owners are really one of a kind. Fantastic easy, quite environment. Big rooms, lovely beds. Owners still do everything themselves and really serve the guests. Tip: Have dinner at the hotel. The meals and chips were amazing. Thanks a lot, these were the two nights we really needed. very nice location above the Lake. Very friendly staff and a good kitchen. Nice for a brief holidat at the country side with access by car to the Moselvalley and the city of Trier.

“Beautiful views and very peaceful”
The room was spacious and comfortable. The view - from the bedroom and breakfast room - was beautiful. The breakfast was great, we are vegetarian and the hotel has got vegan hams and salami for us. The staff were helpful and the dinners were really tasty. We would very much recommend staying!

“three exceptional days”
exceptionnal view and natural environment, exceptionnaly quiet (outside inside), close to Belgium and Luxembourg. Good restaurant with fresh and natural food. Exceptionnal site for longuer walks and for cyclists (with motorbike or very trained)

The location of the hotel and balcony view were fabulous, Very quiet on a cliff of an mountain all you hear is birds singing ... water fall nearby and lake view breakfast was fresh, specially the bread, easy parking, clean average bathroom, staff were very few but helpful.
