Overview
Around 15 minutes' drive from Biella and on the edge of one of the Biellese Prealps's beautiful national parks lies Una Franca and its charming, individually decorated rooms. This little guest house has just 6 rooms and offers friendly, family-run service with a personal touch. Rooms at Una Franca Camere di Charme have all been carefully designed; the suite boasts a four-poster bed, while others are furnished in candy pink or English gingham. The daily breakfast is served in guests' rooms. As well as a pretty garden where you can sit out in summer, Una Franca has a lounge with an open fire inside, perfect for those cold winter nights. Enjoy a typical Piedmont meal at the family-run restaurant located on site. Breakfast features homemade cakes and local products. Oropa and its famous sanctuary are just 6 km away from Una Franca. From here you can enjoy treks out into the countryside or take the cable-cars up into the ski slopes.

“Perfect for 1 night stay with wonderful host.”
Camilla, our wonderful host, manages a small hotel in a small Italian town. We got the groundfloor Van Gogh room, small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the room includes everything you need (fridge) and Camilla served us fresh croissants. Perfect for a one night stop at a very reasonable price.

Very welcoming host, everything was sparkling clean, and the room, although small, had pretty much everything I needed. Fresh (still hot) brioche (croissant with a sweet filling) was a really lovely touch.

The Inglese single room is beautifully appointed, deeply comfortable and with a garden and oak tree outlook. The church bells are wonderful. The host is very welcoming and the hill village, with its cobbled main street is perfectly neat.

“Beautiful unique hotel with great service and restaurant”
Fantastic welcome in a beautiful quiet town up in the hills. Amazing scenery around. Very easy to park and we loved our beautiful kitsch room. It was cosy and homely and had everything we needed. The meal in their restaurant just next to was superb. We were in Italy for 2 weeks and it was up there in the Top 3 best restaurants! Great access to Sanatorio D'Oropa. Very friendly welcome and staff

Was too cold, outside 6 celsius and when I asked for heating, they said the blanket is thick enough. I DIDNT EVEN TAKE A SHOWER in the freezing room! End of September

Something really special for very good price. Warm welcome by the host. The location is perfect starting point for trips to Oropa sanctuary or the mountains. Very good breakfast with some really delicious local products (cheeses, salami, cakes, ...). Stylish restaurant, you can have interesting and delicious dinner with fresh local products. Free parking outside and also direct bus connection from Biella train station and to Oropa.

“A hidden gem that is worth seeking out.”
Incredibly quirky in a mountain setting but the absolute winner was the fantastic restaurant! We booked this hotel because of the write ups about the restaurant and it did not disappoint. A daily changing menu based on local produce was outstanding. We have nothing but praise for the two sisters that run the establishment!
