Friendly staff. Possibility to store bicycles indoors (locked room in the hotel was made available). Quiet location on a hill in a historic park near city centre. Has superb views over the city.

The hotel is in parkland on a hill overlooking Bielefeld and is very quiet, although I heard some ambient noise during the night, probably from ventilators on the roof. A 10-15 minute walk downhill to the city, and a 15-20 minute walk back up the hill. The bar has Sky TV and I watched a Premier League match live. Very nice breakfast. Free parking outside.

The room was clean but obviously old. Some stains on the comforter (not the sheet), stains on the wall, older furniture but the bathroom was new and very clean. The room was cleaned nicely

“Bielfeld 1st Choice Hotel for Family and Animals”
The staff are so friendly and remembered us from the year prior and we got the same delightful room again. Superb food at dinner and breakfast
