Nice hotel located just off the main road. Within walking distance from a bridge over the valley to view the Shirahige waterfall. Meals were delicious.

“The staffs are very helpful :) we did enjoy our stay overall.”
The hot spring is good! We enjoyed the hot spring facilities, wearing yukata and the dinner spread is acceptable. It is very near to the beautiful Shirahige waterfalls. Shuttle bus is provided from the Biei Station - just remember to pre book with the hotel.

“Aging hotel with on-site onsen as biggest selling point”
The biggest selling point is the onsen. Dinner and breakfast provided is also above my expectation.

“Great Full-On japanese Ryokan experience”
the onsen, having Japanese style dinner, able to get into Japanese tradition of dining by wearing Yukata, the room is adorable, a traditional Japanese room with Tatami floor and a futon chairs and bed
