Location is awesome! You need a 4x4 but the fun beginns already getting to the Camp! Staff was very supportive, from the desk, over the staff the restaurant 👌🏼 We booked a driver to go to the dunes and watched the sunset - awesome!

Perfect desert stay. Booked the sunset tour. It was beautiful and amazing. The driver asked if we wanted some doune bashing on the tour, which proved to be very funny. Loved it all

The camp was an oasis, the lovely staff, Salem our driver to the kitchen staff, everyone made sure we had the full Omani desert experience.

You need a 4wd car to get there, tires deflation to 15 psi to be able to drive in the sand can be done in Bidiyaa for 1 omr. The sunrise tour + drive in the dunes with Mohamad for 35 omr is memorable. Dinner and breakfast are very good.

Friendly staff, rooms with every comfort despite being in the desert. Excellent excursions. The food and atmosphere at dinner were also good. There's a pool in the center of the camp that adds to the lovely atmosphere. Recommended!

“A magical place in the Omani Desert - incredible - just book it”

An incredible experience in a magical setting. The accommodation was beautiful and the staff were so kind and helpful. The wonderful pool was a perfect way to cool down after a climb up the surrounding dunes to watch the incredible sunset. Our highlight of an incredible Oman road trip. Dinner was incredible - huge choice of food and fab for vegetarians and everyone working here was exceptional.

It was a lovely Desert Camp experience, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was basic but catered for all needs. It is a basic campsite so do not go off the pictures. Would I stay there again, yes but not more than 3 nights.

“Desert Magic with Unforgettable Sunset Experience”

This desert camp is set in a stunning location — truly a magical spot. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast was just right. We drove to the camp ourselves with a 4x4; it was easy, just remember to lower your tire pressure. The manager was incredibly kind and helpful. Two nights turned out to be a bit much for our young kids due to the heat, but the staff really helped us think of solutions, which we appreciated a lot. Don’t miss the sunset tour you can book upon arrival — it was hands down the most unforgettable moment of our entire trip!

Directions to Desert Rose could have been better. Nice food selection but a little description card would have been handy , especially for the people not from Oman. Only accepting cash was not ideal
