A fantastic desert experience, especially with young children. The kids absolutely loved the pool at the chalet — it kept them happy for hours. Dinner was great, and the dune bashing followed by sunset was a real highlight of the trip. In the evening there was a campfire where we got to catch up with the host and the other guests, which gave the whole stay a lovely communal feel. Breakfast was simple but really nice — the tomato eggs and cheese stood out. If you’re looking for a desert experience with young kids, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Al-Saif Camp was truly unforgettable. From the very moment we booked, the host was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful. It honestly felt like we could reach out for anything at any time — even after our stay, the communication and care remained just as warm. That level of hospitality is rare and made a huge difference for us. The camp itself is absolutely beautiful. The accommodation was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed with a unique and charming interior that perfectly matches the desert atmosphere. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and welcoming, you can really tell that a lot of care and attention goes into every detail. The food was delicious, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff were all genuinely friendly and made us feel at home right away. We also booked a desert tour through the camp, and it was an amazing experience ,well-organized, safe, and a perfect way to explore the surroundings. One thing we really appreciated is how easy the camp is to reach. You can comfortably get there with a normal car, which makes the whole experience even more accessible. We also felt completely safe during our entire stay. The atmosphere in the evening is something special, peaceful, cozy, and truly magical under the desert sky. It’s one of those places that you simply have to experience for yourself. We are so grateful to the host for creating such a wonderful place and for making our stay so memorable. We had an amazing time and would recommend Al-Saif Camp to anyone looking for a unique, comfortable, and truly special desert experience.

“A wonderful stay with stunning desert view”

We had a wonderful time staying with our family at Alsaif Camp. From the very first moment, we felt warmly welcomed by the host and we truly enjoyed our conversations with him by the campfire. The house is spacious, well maintained and the children had a fantastic time in the swimming pool, which is also quite large. We had a beautiful view of the sand dunes and walked up them to admire the sunset. The dinner was also delicious and very generous. It’s highly recommended for anyone who prefers not to stay too deep in the desert.

“Instagramable Accomodation lacking Atmosphere”

The accomodation was a dream come true, but I am not sure that it was worth the money we paid. Manager helped us to get our car out of the sand when we got stuck and had organized a new year's celebration for the guests of the camp.

We had such a wonderful experience here! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. When we came back, they even remembered what we liked – especially the tea – and kept bringing it to us, which was such a thoughtful touch. Whenever we had any issues, especially with our car, Badr and the Team was always there for us. He helped us unconditionally and always found a solution to every problem. His support made a huge difference during our stay. The whole team is very caring, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. You really feel comfortable, safe, and well taken care of here. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely come back again!

“Nice hotel, but very dirty and uncomfortable to sleep in.”

I liked the type of hotel, but the bathroom was very dirty, they only give you one towel, the pool water was extremely dirty, and the mattress was impossible to sleep on. It’s a shame because the hotel itself is nice. The staff didn’t treat us badly, but we were really expecting them to help us with any activity… The night bonfire lasted only 10 minutes, and that’s it… we thought it would be more complete… it was very simple. The dinner was good, but the breakfast was simple. If you’re not used to eating typical local food, they don’t offer other options, and you have to take breakfast with you. There was no hairdryer, and they give you shampoo and conditioner in tiny amounts… This is important to consider since you’re in a place where there’s nothing around. They should offer more options for everything.

The atmosphere and decor were absolutely beautiful. The campfire evening was such a cozy and memorable experience, and the starry desert sky we admired at night made it truly magical.

The host took care of everything, from an exceptional dinner and breakfast to a cozy campfire with stories about country and life in a desert. The final highlight of our stay was dune bashing experience. Highly recommended.

Great stay in the Wahiba Sands at AlSaif Camp. The camp is conveniently located at the edge of the camp which is easily accessible. The staff are friendly and available to help always. The camp was amazing , you didn’t even realise you are staying in the middle of a dessert. The dinner was also amazing. Highly recommend

A wonderful place to stay in the desert. It is easy to reach and you don’t need a 4x4 to get there. The rooms are beautifully and aesthetically designed, and the food is delicious. In the evening, we really enjoyed relaxing by the campfire while learning interesting facts about Oman. There are also several activities you can do here, such as camel riding and dune bashing, which is an absolute must-do. Highly recommended!
