A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. “Dream stay in the desert”
Excellent location; in the middle of desert and just as easy reach. You don't need a 4X4 to reach it, normal sedan car is OK but you need to just follow instructions on google maps, we didn't and stucked in the sand. When we saw the place we got excited and took the early detour road which is not good for sedan car. God thank the facility was close (7-8 minutes walking) and was able to reach reception for help and they towed the car. If we had followed the route described by the navigation, we would not have had any problems as that road was quite OK for sedan cars. Our reservation was half board and the meals are so good. They have many excursion options, 4X4 sunset safari was amazing. Very spacious tent with A/C, refrigerator and private bathroom. Strongly recommended.

“Good place to stay”
We got offered an upgrade. Tente was really clean and comfortable. Good place to get deconnected from the busy life. Chef was really nice.

“Unforgettable desert experience”
The whole experience was unforgettable. You can drive to the camp with your own car because it's "at the beginning of the desert". When we arrived we arranged the excursion with the camels and the Sunset Dunebashing which was so great that we decided to do also the Sunrise Dunebashing - special thanks to Abdullah. The food for dinner and breakfast was very delicious. Would definetly recommend. :)

“A unique experience in the desert”
The staff (check-in/out + food) was very kind. The facilities were great, and the food was good! We were the only ones staying in the camp that night (it was the end of the season) so we’ve got upgraded! That was very much appreciated. Everything was absolutely amazing! The place is super beautiful!

“Wnoderful camp”
The camp is excellent and easily accessible by two-wheel drive vehicles. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The facilities are well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully organized, providing a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this camp for anyone visiting Wahiba Sands. Be sure to take the desert excursion with Fayz—an outstanding tour guide and skilled off-road driver. Sincere thanks and best regards to the entire team.

My partner and I had an amazing time at the camp! The best part was our desert tour with Zaher. He was absolutely brilliant, taking us sandboarding, introducing us to local Bedouins and being generally great chat. The check in staff were great too giving us recommendations and making us feel welcome.

it was an absolutely fantastic stay! we got upgraded to the Royal tent which was extremely spacious and well equipped. The location is excellent and you do not really even need a 4x4 to reach the accomodation! The dinner was delicious and there was tons of food! highly recommended!

Very nice Dessert Camp. We had a very pleasant stay. The stuff was very friendly and helpful.The rooms are big and well equipped. Breakfast and Dinner were very good. Reachable with a normal 2WD car. Thank you very much for everything.
