Overview
Domaine de Bassilour is set within a garden in a restored 18th- century manor house outside of Bidart. It is 3 km from the beaches in Biarritz and offers views of the Pyrenees, a tennis court and free Wi-Fi. Guest rooms are set in the manor house or in the converted 16th-century farmhouse and some have a view of the mountains. Each room has an individual theme and is equipped with a flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom. Breakfast can be enjoyed by the open fireplace in the warmly decorated breakfast room and includes both homemade bread and Scandinavian recipes. The Domaine’s owners are available to recommend restaurants nearby. The property was awarded the Eco Label certificate. Free parking is available on site and Domaine de Bassilour is conveniently located 5 km to Biarritz - Anglet - Bayonne Airport.

“Perfect stop over hotel. I imagine it would be even prettier in summer months”
Beautiful period farmhouse. Warm & cosy. Very comfortable bed. Staff very thoughtful and helpful. Nothing was too much travel. Stayed for 1 night only traveling from UK to Spain with our 3 dogs. Nice outdoor spaces to walk around- will definitely stay here again.

“A beautiful sixteenth century converted farm house set in the countryside yet close to town.”
The breakfast was adequate. The oranges which you had to squeeze made excellent orange juice. It needed a wider choice of hams, pastries and cheese. However, what was there was fresh and tasty.

“Great place to stay to visit the area or on the way to go or come from the south”
Great place to stay and only 15 min away from Biarritz. Nice location, convenient to the highway and and great if you travel with a dog. Relaxed and comfortable and we did sleep very well. WE will stay again when we are in or path thru he area.
