The rustic-style Motel Cristina is quietly located next to the forest, 400 metres from the Bicaz Dam, and offers a restaurant serving traditional dishes from the Moldova region, a wooden terrace and a roofed seating area with barbecue facilities. “acceptable to stay for a night for single men, but too expensive. totally not ok for family”
looked for a place to stay for a night during crazy long road. not sure I would book this room for a day off looks like old post-soviet hotel that was repaired log-time ago

I booked this place because it featured a restaurant. However, on arrival, we found out that the restaurant was closed. On explaining this to the receptionist, she contacted the owner. By the time we arrived, it was too late to book somewhere else. I expected an apology and a token discount, but the owner took a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. Disappointing, to say the least.
