This unique residence has a rich history based on its past residents. It was once the home of the Mayor of Biarritz. It was also the place Napoleon III used to receive medical care on his visits to the region. Guestrooms are spacious and feature a refined and elegant décor. Beautiful hotel, everything was perfect. Excellent location, right in the heart of everything. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!

The rooms were spotlessly clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and very helpful especially sourcing a fan when the air conditioning unit in our room was faulty. We had a brilliant stay and would love to return.

Wow, what a nice hotel. We were upgraded to a lovely room with two balconies! Incredibly clean and well put together room, plenty of space, very comfy bed, great bathroom, really nice wooden floors and period features mixed with the modern amenities. Great location and really friendly staff! The breakfast was sublime and good value for money. Can’t fault anything, I would definitely stay here again!

Loved it. Brilliant staff - friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent - lots of it and we loved the local touches. Liked the ambience of the hotel - lovely terrace and comunal area. Our room was a good size for us. But the bathroom sink was not very practical (although still interesting and chique).

“April in Biarritz”
This is a lovely,charming, hotel in an ideal location very close to beaches & Biarritz centre,attractions, restaurants,shops etc nearby park aquarium etc. About 3km from Biarritz Airport. My room was at garden level with its own entrance..although it was also accessible through the main hotel entrance also.The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had nice shower gel and shampoo, and a hairdryer. There was a kettle provided and teas/coffees and also a mini bar stocked with drinks and snacks and Staff were pleasant upon check in and also upon departure, assisted with booking a taxi for departure. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

Location was great, a short walk to fantastic views over surfers beach and close to plenty of fantastic restaurants. Room had a great view of the lighthouse.
