I just want to state that you have a lovely woman working for you as a volunteer who made up for the lack of service otherwise your staff would have got a zero because we didn't see any! I think she was aussie! If it were not for her, we would have been super annoyed at the whole situation.

“A perfect stay”

Very comfortable and clean rooms, super welcoming and friendly staff. Amazing views from the lovely rooftop, you could spend your whole day up there. Perfect location to explore Bhaktapur, and the staff give great recommendations for places to see/restaurants to go to.

I truly recommend this very nice place in the heart of Bhaktapur. I really love the city, with its beautiful architecture and rich culture, and I have no regrets about spending time there. The guesthouse is well located in a very quiet neighbourhood, which makes it perfect for relaxing or having a walk around the charming alleys of the city center. The guesthouse also has a rooftop with a lovely view over the city, perfect for watching the sunset. The restaurant is excellent — the best dal bhat I had in Nepal ! The chief is really talented and always makes the guest happy with his cooking. Everyone working there is incredibly kind; I truly felt like part of a family, and I’m very grateful for their warm welcome. They also enjoy sharing their knowledge of Nepali culture and are always happy to give tips about the city and its surroundings. I also had the chance to take part in a newari ceremony "the Mha Puja" they organized with the owner’s family (some photos attached). The ceremony was magical and offered a wonderful opportunity to immerse myself in Newari culture, something quite unique for a guesthouse to offer and I highly recommend joining if you have the opportunity. Right across from the guesthouse, there is also a hostel where I stayed for a while before returning to Bhaktapur. It’s a warm and welcoming place as well, with common areas that make it easy to meet people and enjoy friendly moments with other guests. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and have Wi-Fi. In short, I can only recommend this place :)

I had a lovely stay at Swastik Guest House. The rooms are big and very clean. The rooftop is the perfect area to chill anytime of the day. The staff are amazing:))

Rooftop terrace was lovely, great place to watch the sunset over historical Baktapur, and of course lovely staff!

Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the hostel and guesthouse are both super comfortable, clean and in a great location. The rooftop area has great views of Bhaktapur and is perfect for getting some sun! Would definitely stay here again!

Very friendly staff. The location is perfect, right inside old Bhaktapur! The guest house is wonderfully decorated and has a roof top where you can chill, do yoga and enjoy the lovely view

The room is beautiful and comfortable! There is a wonderful terrace on the building where you can relax in front of a magnificent view of Bakhtapur. The staff very friendly and helpful, not only for the room. They gave me a lot of suggest about the city, transports, food and other more from their heart. I arrived as a customer and left as a friend! I highly recommend this place!

I traveled with my partner. Very nice place to stay for few days after a long trip. Near everything and also local athomesphere around. You can meet many travellers at the same time. Nice views on the terrace. Confortable mattress.

This is our third time back and the staff have done many renovations and continue to improve the Guesthouse. It has a very nice rooftop for sunset and meeting other guests. Bishwo the owner is very helpful and gave us a tour of Bhaktapur. The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. It s well located and quite. Bhaktapur has a special vibe

“Best in Bhaktapur”

I stayed here for a few months, I loved it here that much. The room had a beautiful view of the old city where the locals would hang out. While I was there they steamed cleaned the carpets, upgraded the wifi, offered to clean my room, any requests were always taken with ease. Bishwo, the owner is absolutely gold, he is always so willing to make sure you have the best time in Nepal and devotes so much of his day to take care of the guests, answer questions, tell you about the cultureand life in Bhaktapur. He really treats you like family. Indu, the young women at the reception is very kind, open and warm hearted. The owner is also running a Hostel across the road, which is a nice place to hang out and meet other travelers, what an absolute bonus. The staff are also building the best rooftop kitchen and bar at the guesthouse, I can't wait to be back!!
