“A beautiful homestay and taste of Nepali culture”
Wonderful host family who made us feel immediately welcome. Our friend recommended Raj, Kriti and family as a lovely homestay to be based in in Bhaktapur and it was a great stay - would definitely love to visit and stay again. Delicious home cooked breakfasts and some evening meals too. Was lovely to socialise with the family and other guests too. A light vegetable soup that Kriti made was one of my favourite things I ate during my 2 week trip to Nepal! Raj took us around Bhaktapur to see the main sights and we also enjoyed a forest walk with Raj and Kriti. The room was large and quiet, the shower was powerful, and there was a great roof terrace we could venture up to as well. We felt really lucky to be staying during the Nepali new year and Mother’s Day and it was so nice to be included in the celebrations.

“Beautiful designed house with dragon sculptures”
The property was beautiful and the rooms were designed very beautifully. The house owner was very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. We also had home cooked meals.

The family is amazing and helpful we got two apples! The house is very very astonishing, haven’t seen anything like this and they build it all themselves. We came late because the new years celebration but they were still so nice to us.

Everything was great! The house is beautiful and colourful, the family welcomed us so warmingly, the room was large, spotless and very comfortable. The service was very attentive. Bhaktapur city center is about 20 minutes walk and it was nice to return to a quiet neighbourhood after a buzzing day. Thank you for everything, wish we could have stayed longer.

“Highly recommended”
Comfortable bed with a great duvet. Beautiful room and bathroom in a modern building with the dragon theme tastefully running throughout. Well located in a quiet area yet only about 100m to the nearest shops and restaurants. I loved the breakfasts and speaking with the host family who are extremely hospitable and generous.

Such a friendly, warm and welcoming family - we loved our stay at Dragon Homestay because they put us at ease immediately. They prepared dinner for us when we arrived, encouraged us to use the whole space (including the amazing rooftop!) and made us a delicious breakfast. The room was also very comfortable - with a very good, powerful and hot shower! Would definitely recommend and will be booking again if we are in Bhaktapur in the future.

“Brilliant Homestay!”
It's a family home and probably the best accomodation I have had in Nepal since I arrived about a month ago. It's spotlessly clean and a very safe place to stay. I loved the family atmosphere and I enjoyed my interaction with them all very much. They made me feel very at home. I arranged to have full board (I'm not sure this is standard though) and the food was excellent. It's not far from Baktapur Durbar Square, half an hour walk. It's not too far from the centre of Kathmandhu (a taxi/bus ride) and by far a better place to stay than in the city.
