Overview
Situated in the heart of the Burgundy wine region, Le Bourguinon is a charming hotel offering comfortable accommodation. It features a restaurant serving regional cuisine, and two terraces. “great potential but unloved and uncared for.”
The hotel was rated 2* and therefore we did not expect much, however the room was a good size, we stayed with a medium/big dog and he fitted in well. the bed was comfy, which is all we needed for an overnight pitstop. The food in the restaurant was good, great wine choice and good cheese board, which you would expect from this area. Staff sufficiently friendly. The village is worth a visit, a beautiful little place.

“Good to short stay, not for breakfast or long staying, nor for returning.”
Location was good because you can walk to the village. And it was, despite the hotel is on the road, silent. We went in May, so not in high season.

Room not ready when we arrived. Overall rooms should be cleaned. Dust, spider webs and even old packet of chips under the bed. Shower head not fixable. Heater’s thermostat broken.

Beze is magnificently beautiful, with a peaceful, slow-running river passing through the center of this medieval town. The restaurant serves amazing food and wine.

“A very pleasant surprsie”
We spent just one night here and thought that this will be ok. The room was dated but clean and very comforable with an excellent shower. We booked the restaurant for supper not expecting it to be anything special. How wrong we were! A traditonal restaurant that was fully booked with wonderful service and first class fare. We will definintely be back!

“My family and I have stayed here before but see the deterioration in standard and comfort.”
The food in the restaurant is outstanding so I would come to eat there again unfortunately the breakfast was disappointing as the croissants were dry and stale and the coffee very weak.
