The cottage is very spacious, equipt with everything you need including a potjie, a gas stove, nice size fridge/freezer, and kitchen table for 4, ens. Outside, cozy garden seating near stream, beautiful garden, a large braai area in the garden, with seating under the trees. Cottage is very clean. Walking distance to Harold Porter Botanical Gardens and nearby Cafe, with fresh bread and much more. Safe area to walk, and very close to access to sea with walking path around the coast.

A beautiful and peaceful stay! The cottage is cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with lovely mountain and fynbos views. Perfect location near the beach. We especially enjoyed the tranquil setting and evenings by the braai. Highly recommend!

The views are amazing. There is a very peaceful steam from the mountains at the backyard and beautiful view from the rooftop. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely go back.

Location. Amazing hosts

A comfortable and spacious, well furnished two bedroom cottage, with big windows allowing the serenity of the spectacular surroundings into the home. It was beautiful being able to enjoy a braai in the private garden with the beautiful fresh water streaming pond. Additionally, you can literally walk across the road to the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens and experience beautiful waterfalls.

“Cozy family run place in a perfect setting”

Beautiful spot, close to the beaches and just a short walk from the botanical garden and good coffee shops. The place has a peaceful private garden with amazing views and perfect for a cozy braai in the evening. The lovely owners Karin and Herman who live next door made us feel very welcome. Our little girl loved visiting and hanging out with Karin after coming back from our outings and was sad to leave :)

I absolutely adored my stay at Streams Cottage! The hosts Herman and his wife were wonderfully attentive.and friendly. The cottage was comfortable, with an exquisite garden, stream and natural pool for those open to swimming with frogs and carp. It has a wonderful rooftop entertainment area, with a table and benches to enjoy the sunset over dinner. The property is a stone's throw from a coastal path that leads to the beautiful white sandy Betty's Bay beach. This was a really relaxing stay, in a very quiet, low density neighborhood with lowland fynbos all around. I highly recommend staying here, and hope to return again soon for another relaxing stay.

The hosts were friendly and provided helpful recommendations for local activities and restaurants. Streams Cottage made for a perfect home away from home, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. We will definitely be returning.

Wonderful location to access the mountain and the beach. Friendly host who was very attentive and helpful, but also respected our privacy. Few minutes walk to the beach, and to the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens towards the mountain. Clean and spacious facilities, wonderful shady outdoor setting where we sat and worked for a couple of days in the garden, by the pond, with the chirping birds, under the cool shade of the trees. Quiet location. Five minute drive to the penquins at Stony Point, fifteen minute drive to the Arabella Hotel, where we had lunch on a Sunday afternoon, when everything in Bettys Bay was closed. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Interesting 'natural' garden to rear. 5 minutes stroll to quiet beach with surf, rock pools and lots of bird life. 50m from Harold Porter gardens. 100m from nice little shop and good cafe.
