We stayed for one night in November. Hosts were very friendly and gave us great tips + restaurant recommendations for the local area and where we were going next - which were fantastic. We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. We loved the dog Jezebel! There were lots of highly appreciated little extras which made the stay that much nicer. Would recommend 100%!

“A relaxed, luxurious stay.”

Our hosts were excellent, welcoming and went above and beyond when we had an issue with lost baggage. Little extras provided, such as little sweets, milk, eggs and bread were very welcome. Other things too but don't want to spoil the surprise for other guests! The outdoor spaces to sit were both lovely, sheltered and private. The rockery gardens were beautiful. Location was ideal for sightseeing, whale watching and relaxing, yet not too far from Cape Town. We felt safe and there was a calmer vibe in the towns. For groceries we found the Spar in Kleinmond had a great selection. There is also a good biltong shop in the town. We ate near the harbour and there was quite a range of places to choose from. Gordon's Bay is half an hour drive for more options.

“Brilliant place to stay in the Betty’s Bay Area”

Beautiful accommodation that goes above and beyond. For example, the basket of tablecloth and glasses to take towards the shore to watch the sunset, not to mention the delicious fresh bread. We had a lovely welcome and Terese and Garth had a wealth of useful information about the area for us. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed. The sitting room extremely comfortable and the outside sitting areas were lovely to have.

“Little Gem on the Whale Coast”

Gorgeous views: Ocean on the one side and mountain on the other side! The cottage is beautiful and equipped with everything you would ever need and more. Garth and Therese are lovely people and added many fine touches to make our stay welcoming - we loved the homemade sourdough bread and cold bottle of wine on arrival. Besides the cottage itself, the area is really in close proximity of nice outings for eating/shopping/picnics/beach. Highly recommend!

Extremely spacious apartment with fantastic view and modern & clean facilities. Also the hosts were incredibly nice and even brought us a freshly basked sourdough bread as well as a bottle of wine. Overall, we highly recommend a stay!

From Ian and Joan, UK. Beautiful property on sea front. Hosts communicated from when booking was made. Every day suggestions were given of where to go and eat, with Google pin for ease to find. Hosts were exceptional. Services like washing and ironing were complimentary if you were there for a week. Very welcome when you are away for a length of time. Would definitely visit again.
