“Quaint and serene ^-^”

Beautiful location. It's a quiet place and the only thing you really hear during the day are the people's gas generators running. There was damage to the electrical infrastructure at the time. So the night sky was absolutely beautiful! They have a lovely bath that runs on solar, so there was warm water to bathe in when we were visiting! Absolutelt awesome! Small braai facility that was enough so that I could braai for us for the whole weekend. Just remember your tools! Everything is withing 1km from you. Everything. We walked around so much during the weekend to look at sights There is no TV, big plus! There was also wifi available that ran off an inverter, big plus there as well! The stars. OMW! THE STARS! You could start spotting satellites from about 1800! The Oom handlling the place is very chill :) He has a cool bird

Very comfortable and convenient, with some thoughtful extra touches (like the provided breakfast cereal). Perfect base for walking to the penguin reserve. The nearby little shopping centre also has a surprisingly good Indian restaurant!

Everything was amazing from the room to the balcony view. Nice and clean bathroom as well just very professional.

Our host was friendly and very approachable. We had informative conversations. The location was perfect for what we had in mind. The privacy was perfect for a over night stay and quite homely. I would definitely, when in the area, stay there again.

Walking distance to penguin site, spacious room and bathroom with fridge and microwave with all necessary cutlery. Friend owner. The building is dates but clean, so nothing unexpected than the pictures you see, not sure why other people are surprised!

Only clean culery for 1 day no where to wash them. No seaview at all, you need to drive for a while to get to the so called beach. Very remote, all very expensive shops close at 16h00. All outdated furniture. Didn't feel very safe.

Very Good place to stay

The dear hosts At & Yvonne were so kind, and welcoming, even at my short notice booking and arrival +- 7pm, for a short overnight stay. Am so grateful. The neat upperlevel, well equipped apartment, comfy bed, spacious bathroom + bathtub, good hot water; and adjacent balcony affords beautiful, scenic mountain + partial seaviews - peaceful, pleasant + welcoming - additional welcome greeting by the cutest charming house-pet, parakeet :-)
