Property located to so many interesting places. The botanical gardens the penguin colony Pringle bay with its beautiful white beach and blue ocean very idilic. One side the sea that speaks to you the other side the majestic mountain that answers you. Great restaurants close to property eg Waaygat.

A charming, quiet and comfortable little place with a warm and welcoming host. It seems to me genuine care is taken to make guests feel comfortable here. Great location nestled up against the foot of a majestic mountain, while the sea is a short walk away. Perfect place for a bit of soul rejuvenation. Take a moment to look at the stars on a clear night. Breathtaking!

It was perfect, we really enjoyed our time at Jan's flat let! Jan and his wife are very kind and friendly people. We would always stay there again.

We had a very comfortable couple of nights here. It is a nice peaceful location with lovely views. The host, Jan, is very responsive. There are plenty of good cafes and restaurants within a short drive.

Was what we want

I really liked the location, it was near the beach and also very quiet and relaxing.

There is a short dirt road to get to the location, any car will manage this with ease. Drive slow and enjoy the view. There are no street lights so the night sky is amazing. Bettie's Bay, Pringle Bay and Kleinmond are very close together and has enough attractrions to keep you busy for a week. The owner of the property will be able to give more information.

Everything was as per their ad. Its a fabulous weekend getaway. Fantastic views, very private and you need to bring nothing with except your food and yourself. I highly recommend Aloe Ocean Flatlet and will definitely return. Just make sure that you are aware of the R250,00 taxes extra on the advertised amount. `

It was cold in flatet,perhaps a heater in it would be appreciative.

A cosy and comfortable flatlet with everything you need. The accommodation is surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna and is set against a stunning mountain backdrop. It's easy distance to amazing beaches and a penguin colony which was a treat to visit. Best of all is Jan, a charming host who explained everything well and made us feel very welcome! Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

“Just as amazing as the first time we stayed!”

We made use of this accommodation before and this time we went as a birthday getaway for myself. It was as an outstanding experience as the first time we visited. Everything from my previous review stands but the extra lovely touch is when they gave me gorgeous flowers for my birthday (I was asked for which wine is my preference but I don't drink). The hosts are friendly people and honestly they are the best hosts at an accommodation that I have ever had. I have been to 4 star hotels in the surrounding area but I choose Aloe Ocean over them anytime purely for the lovely experience.

The location was amazing. We were met with a very friendly Jan on arrival and when we left his lovely friendly wife said goodbye to us. Wishing us a safe travel home. The accommodation was a great place to come back to after a day out. Fully stocked kitchenette with everything easily found and a filter coffee machine. The shower was HUGE and the towels and shower mat were soft. I would 100000% recommend this place to anyone who wants to not be bothered while on holiday. I was unable to take photos of when we arrived but I have photos of the bedroom of when we left.
