With its hilltop location in the Tuscan countryside, Il Casale Del Marchese offers views of Montepulciano and Cortona. Dating back to the late 1700s, it offers a garden with swimming pool. We had an absolutely amazing week at Il Casale del Marchese! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. The property itself is stunning: beautifully maintained with all the facilities you could wish for. The rooms were spotless, the pool area was perfect for relaxing, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like a true escape. This place really is a hidden gem. Whether you're looking to unwind or explore the nearby towns like Florence and Siena, and don’t forget to visit the vineyards, this is the perfect base. We will definitely be coming back! One week wasn’t enough to enjoy everything this wonderful place has to offer. Thank you all!

“Love this place”
This place is amazing. The grounds are immaculate, the pool area is so beautiful and a wonderful place to relax. There is wine and other drinks available via an honesty list. You have breakfast out on a patio looking over the gardens. The views are beautiful and we sometimes just sat on the side of the bed looking out. There is a village close by with yummy pizza and gelato. All you need really! Montepulsiano is a short drive away as are a lot of other villages. The rooms are spacious and the bed was compfortable. Staff are lovely. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We loved it and wished we were staying longer.

A Peaceful Tuscan Retreat for a holiday to remember! Casale dei Marchese is a true hidden gem, perfectly located near Pienza and the breathtaking landscapes of Val d'Orcia, and just a 30-minute drive from Siena. Tuscany is truly at your fingertips here. The atmosphere is calm and serene. A pool area is ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The rooms are full of charm and character, blending rustic elegance with comfort. A special thanks goes to Gianluca and his team whose warm, calming presence and proactive care made our stay exceptional. Their local recommendations were always spot-on and added so much to our experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic Tuscan hospitality!

This place is simply incredible – by far our best experience ever! The location is stunning, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Tuscany. Everything was perfectly organized, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. The breakfast was absolutely amazing – delicious and made with so much care. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the team. Such warm, kind, and genuine people – we felt like we were visiting friends. Every little detail was just perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a magical and heartwarming stay 🥹🤍
