LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary established by global animal welfare organisation FOUR PAWS is home to over 100 Big Cats rescued from around the world. We offer FULL BOARD accommodation & fine dining in our on-site restaurant. Your stay will include an exciting DAILY TOUR. Our well-appointed rooms offer digital satellite televisions, free wifi connection, en-suite bathrooms, tea & coffee facilities, beautiful views of LIONSROCK and the valley below. Whilst your comfort and our commitment to ethical tourism is top priority, our main focus remains animal welfare and education. Located 20 km from Bethlehem, of which 13 km is a drivable gravel road, LIONSROCK offers free secure parking on site. An airport shuttle can be arranged from OR Tambo International.

“Excellent!”
Loved our stay. Staff all friendly and accommodated us with every request. Food was good. Room was spacious and nothing shorted. Location excellent and tours were very good. Will definitely recommend this lodge to all.

“Lovely”
Breakfast was lovely and staff were attentive. Went in January when it was not as busy and we were the only ones on the premises and had plenty alone time with the lions etc. Room was lovely with all necessary items needed like fridge, kettle etc.

“An experience of a Lifetime”
We had such an amazing experience at Lions Rock. The accommodation, the food. Everything was top notch. It was a bit bittersweet because I learnt so much about all the animals but also leant allot about how cruel and uncaring people can be. I encourage everyone who really loves animals to support lions rock and fourpaws.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lion's Rock. The staff is so thoughtful they made us feel at home. Having a full board and jam packed with tours and activities all inclusive of the price was amazing. It was a amazing seeing all of the big cats our favourite was Rasputin the tiger!
