All the staff I came into contact with were fantastic. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Also had breakfast in the restaurant and it was fantastic!

The gate was not giving tickets when I arrived then when I left could not open without going inside to explain .

The size and cleanliness of the room met my expectations. Moreover, the bed was very comfortable. A limitation to the room, which is architectural in design, is the location of the restroom.

My room smelled horrible. Dealt with this the first two nights. The staff did their best to help with complaints made but they hardly followed up to find out if the issue had been resolved. The balcony to my room was dirty. The fire alarm went off three times on my floor, I had to carry a heavy child down the hallway only to meet a locked door at the exit. I was told it was a false alarm when I went back to the room and called the front desk. I think they should have communicated it when they knew the alarm was false. My first night was absolutely awful. Lack of sleep due to the alarm and an unpleasant smell in the room.

The bed was very comfortable and I loved the snappy white linens. The view from our room was great - wish the weekend weather had been warmer cause that pool looked so inviting. Oh, well., maybe next time. that being said, waking up to the large pine outside the window and seeing a Baltimore Oriole was a bonus. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best. We were tired from driving and the events of the day, so we chose to eat at the property's restaurant. I have a picky vegetarian child but she really like the warm "salad" plate with farro, cauliflower, etc. I had the garden salad which was a good size (excellent - I needed my greens!) and the crabcake sandwich which was very tasty - had a little spice to it and nice flavors. It was nice that the mgmt. had coffee/tea in the lobby for guests who were leaving before the restaurant opened for breakfast in the morning. I made my booking trhough booking.com and so my breakfast and parking were included in my price --all very reasonable. Also, this Marriott has a suburban feel to it even though fairly easily accessible to the highway. It's tucked behind and is nicely landscaped so one doesn't have the feel of being noisy or city-crowded. Because I chose this Marriott for its convenience to a place where I had to attend an event, I was rushed so didnt'get to enjoy the workout room, so can't speak to that. All in all, good place.
