Overview
Just 5 minutes’ walk from Bethells Beach, Eco Cottages offer self-contained accommodation with free WiFi and a private patio with ocean views. There is a hot tub available for all guests use or a portable hot tub to hire for your private use. A sunny terrace and a wood-fired barbecue are also available at the property. A fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a microwave and a refrigerator is standard in all apartments. Each apartment has a separate living room with a TV and a DVD player. The closest supermarket is 20 minutes' from these self-catering apartments. Eco Cottages Bethells Beach is 20 minute’ drive from a number of wineries. Central Auckland is a 40-minute drive away. You can enjoy a relaxing massage, or play a game of table tennis. The property also offers a children’s playground, a tour desk and a library.

“Surreal”
Where do I even begin? Trude and John were phenomenal hosts. They are flexible, kind and accommodating. They welcomed me into their home, offered me coffee and homemade cake and shared beautiful life stories with me that I will cherish forever. The cottage is situated on stunning grounds with breathtaking views of Bethells Beach. The cottage had everything I needed and more. And it was spotless. I even got to witness a hilocopter wedding on the premises, which was a huge treat! I really made myself at home and Trude and John made that very easy. My stay there was a lifetime experience that I will never forget.

“Perfect”
Great view!! Nice and cosy cottage with everything you need. The host,John, came down and introduced the surroundings to us. You can clearly see the Bethells beach and the sunset from the cottage. Fantastic stay!

“Stunning location, comfortable cottage, wonderful host - you simply have to visit!”
Have wanted to stay at the Bethell's Cottages for many years now! It exceeded all my expectations. The cottage was gorgeous, so comfortable and well equipped, and the view could not be topped, and the host, John, could not have been more welcoming and gave me great tips on local spots to visit, gave me a guided tour down onto a lesser known part of the beach through a private track, and showed me the best spot to see the sunset. I genuinely didn't want to leave!

The location is amazing on the top of the hill overlooking the beach. Self contained quiet beach cottages. Beach is a ten minutes walk. I've stayed there several times down the years and love it.
