“Nature retreat close to Betancuria”

We were looking for quite place and we get it :) Just be avare, there are two flats sharing the outside space. The owner prepared small snack for the invitation, which was very nice. The communication was clear. There are all basic amnenities.

Rita was very communicative and texts in English which certainly helped me. The property is in a lovely tranquil area with walks from the door step in most directions. Facilities were fine and well catered for, the bed was comfy and likewise the lounge/dinning area was good. A terrace by the house which looks out towards Vega de Río Palmas and another shared BBQ (didn't use) terrace lower down the garden where you can also relax in the shade. Road near but quiet when I was there. Neighbouring flat set back so both get some privacy. I would recommend a car to get about as the main supermarkets and fuel stations are outside of this valley but a bus does seem to run from somewhere via Betancuria and into Vega where I guess it terminates as the road out beyond is quite twisty and narrower but I may be wrong. Roads are twisty but enjoyable if taken steady with good views. Great to star gaze if clear but limited by surrounding hills. Overall, for me, it was a perfect 14 night island vacation to explore all over and to see Lobos (needs a pass, see ferry booking site).
