Review after staying at 6 different locations in Raja Ampat. My first and last stay in RA. Very happy to be back! Everything the same as my last review a bit lower...

“Perfect view and mangroves”

Review after staying at 6 different locations in Raja Ampat: A really nice homestay with an amazing view and the mangroves at the back of your bungalows. Athus is your man if you want to do activities, he's really kind and speaks English. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served on your private terrace. Really nice and romantic for couples or single travellers that prefer to eat alone. Emma and Nancy prepare one of the best foods that I had in RA.

The host - Atos, is so welcoming and helpful! He really made it a very enjoyable stay. The food is great, the house is lovely and right on the water. You can do snorkeling in front and spot turtles, dolphines and more! Also around the corner a great juice place.

“It was a great stay at Pesona Papua!”

We had an awesome time. Athus is a perfect guide, who can take you anywhere and his family is kind. Except for Athus, they do not speak English, but they cooked great food for us! The portions were generous! The homestay is cute, it has everything that a low budget traveller needs.

“Peaceful Paradise”

I love this place. They pick you up from the Waisai Port and then I spent 7 beautiful and peaceful Days and Nights at that place. They serve 3 local meals a day. And are super friendly. You have the house reef in front of your door. Literally snorkeling with black tip sharks and turtles from your balcony. I love it. The stars in the night are incredible. I mean this is the basic lifestyle I was looking for. Petrus is super friendly and comes around every day to make sure everything is fine.

“Simple bungalow in prime location”

Simple but large and comfortable bungalow with large veranda. Great views and sunsets. Lots of corals with plenty of fishes just in front of the bungalow. Average food, tending personnel not very talkative (maybe they don’t speak Bahasa Indonesia)

I liked my stay here. The view is beautiful and very peaceful.

“Great, very relaxing and beautiful remote place, nice coral life straight from the balcony and quain”

The breakfast on the first day was fried donuts which surprised me. I asked if I could have eggs for breakfast and the next morning got 2 hard boiled eggs and boiled potato which I was ok with. The food was plentiful, mostly fresh fish and rice with vegetables with fruit for lunch annd dinner and they brought me snacks in the afternoon usually fried bananas with chocolate sauce. The owner spoke some English and we could make ourselves understood. He was helpful and easy going. No nonsense about bargaining prices for activities. They have their price, it’s reasonable, just pay it.
