“Homestay with magical reef and friendly staff”

We had a wonderful stay in Korbekwan! It's so idyllic. Stunning seascape. We woke up in the mornings to birds and dolphins jumping, a whale, magical sunrises and a truely great reef. We saw humphead wrasse, sharks, sea snakes, squid, and too many others to note. We went on some excellent excursions organised by the homestay and swimming with manta rays will always be something to remember. The food was basic but good- lovely veg, and freshly caught fish. The people there are very friendly. Also hugely good value for money

Korbekwan Homestay is a dream! We stayed in one of their beautiful cabanas, with the most amazing house reef right at our doorstep. The reef is more beautiful and alive than we’ve seen on any snorkeling tours. There are tons of fish, the coral is very healthy, and to the right of the dock there are three incredible giant clams. We loved our time at Korbekwan. Waking up in the morning with the most peaceful scenery, nothing nearby, a beautiful green mountain in the back, the songs of bird of paradise, gorgeous blue water in front of you… and at night the most beautiful starry sky. The cabanas are simple, but have everything you need. Tours and boats were reasonably prized, the staff was extremely friendly, and the food was delicious. Highly highly recommended!

This place is pure magic. The accommodation itself is quite basic. But the host family is friendly, and the location is the best we've seen in Raja Ampat: it's in a fairly remote bay, with no other homestays or hotels around. The house reef is also fantastic: giant clams, reef sharks, cuttlefish, turtles, mantis shrimps, crabs, lobsters, starfish, octopus, ribbon eels, sea snakes, porcupine fish, stingrays, dolphins... and lots of healthy coral. When it gets dark, and no light sources, the stars and the Milky Way become clearly visible, and luminescent plankton are glowing in the water, it is incredibly magical. The host can take people to see the red bird-of-paradise which is a short trip I highly recommend. We also took a trip to Piaynemo but we found the snorkeling stop at Citrus Ridge the most beautiful. Korbekwan must be one of the most special places I've ever stayed at.

“Paradise Stay in Raja Ampat 🌴✨”

Korbekwa Homestay is a true gem in Raja Ampat! The location is absolutely stunning — surrounded by turquoise waters, coral reefs, and lush tropical nature. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help and share local stories. The bungalows are simple but clean and comfortable, offering an authentic island experience. Every day started with a breathtaking sunrise over the ocean and ended with the sound of waves under the stars. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the fish and local dishes. Snorkeling just in front of the homestay was amazing — colorful corals and countless fish! It was a peaceful and unforgettable stay in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Highly recommended!

“A true authentic stay in paradise setting”

If you want true paradise waters in pure simplicity this place is perfect. Yes they very basic, but that’s exactly what we wanted to really feel true raja Ampat! There are only 3 huts so super quiet and they are very clean! No rats or nasties, and being over the water is amazing! The family are so lovely!!! They don’t speak English but are so kind and you feel that they respect your privacy also! The food was the best we had in raja ampat! We had meat or fish every day, with rice and 2 options of veg. The reef directly outside is beautiful with so much to see at your doorstep! It is a shared bathroom however it’s tucked away so you have privacy and we got used to it very quickly. Can’t recommend enough! We are so glad that we booked Korbekwan

Very good bungalows and nice location, very friendly and kind staff, tasty food. You can book tours with owner of this property - and see other islands renting the boat for tour. nature around is amazing!

The coral reefs right in front of the homestay is crazy. We spotted 3 giant clams just right there haha

What an absolute GEM of a stay. Definitely our top stay in Raja Ampat. The family was so kind and the food delicious. We loved that there was only limit people (one other couple at the stay) even though we did not meet Donald he was a great communicator

“Peaceful and friendly homestay”

I felt so welcome with this homestay. It's serene, the only noice you hear is that from the birds in the jungle. The food was great, fresh fish, vegetables, chicken, rice, all very tasteful. The huts are new and the bed is very ok. These people are so friendly and so welcoming. I defenately would go back if I ever have the plan again. Daan, Netherlands

The most important thing is that there are no rats, no mosquitoes and the guy, Donal, it was a very friendly guy and helpful. His family was very friendly and kind. Very clean and the food was pretty good and the price was very good
