“Incredible homestay and location”

We spent two nights in this homestay and it was incredible. The owner and his family are very kind and accomplished all our requests. The bungalow are very good and the location is very quiet… really a paradise. The food was very good and water was always provided during the day. We had the opportunity to see amazing natural life, both in the water and also on land, mainly thanks to the people there who showed us everything we wanted to see. We also did a trip in GAM bay with them and it was an amazing experience. It is higly recommended!!

We stayed 4 nights and had a wonderful time .The host and staff were very attentive and food was outstanding. Home cooked indonesia dishes and generous portion. The mangrove tour was the highlight of the trip.

Great snorkelling, boat trips, especially jellyfish lake and island landscape. Thank you to Karoli and family for looking after us. Your sister cooked great lunches and dinners. Visit Papua Aid centre for coffees and juice and talk to children who help run Juice Bar. Shop near accommodation selling 'cool' Bintang for around 80,000 large can, soft drinks 10 to 20 thousand, chips and bickies. Other guests in other 2 bungalows like minded fellow travellers. Fantastic place to observe real village life. Visit Sunday mass to listen to choir. Amazing sunsets. Yes toilet a hike, but there are ways around this in the middle of the night! Fan at night a bonus. We had power banks to charge from 6pm to 6am to get us through the day. We purchased Telkomsel from Jakarta airport with no issues with internet, didn't use night time wifi. BYO tissues to toilet just incase paper run out. BYO shampoo soap conditioner. Ask for refils tea coffee hot water and it will be replaced. Breakfast no fruit or fibre, ie donuts pancakes etc, so fibre supplements if needed. Lunch and dinner and lunch always rice, veggie, protein (fish or egg), sometimes with deep fried goodie and fruit. Sometimes afternoon cake or pancakes. Always enough to never be hungry. Birdsong around was beautiful natural music. Pre-order beers from shop to cool when electricity comes on around 6pm.

“Great stay in Gam❤️”

A wonderful stay in Gam. We went here for our honeymoon and the homestay put flowers on the bed so nice! The food was so amazing! The family is also very nice and helped us with the birds of paradise tour & snorkeltrip to Arborek. Also the sunset is sooo pretty from the homestay❤️

“Cozy homestay”

We liked the location of the homestay. It has a nice view with nice sunsets. Behind the floating house there's a village where you can roam around. Also the food was good and there was a lot of variation.

This homestay on Besir island is ideally located near several interests spots in Raja Ampat. The place is calm, only two cabins on the water, connected to a village full of charm. The utilities are on the beach, near the owner's house. It's very clean and has everything required to answer basic needs. Regarding the rooms, mosquito net on the bed, fan, electricity at night, blankets, hammock, sunbed and basic furnitures. All the meals (included in the reservation) are served to your cabin, they vary and are prepared by an great cook! So everything is tasteful and good. No connection except if you get a SIM card on arrival at Sorong's airport but deconnection is great. It's easy to communicate with the owner who speaks well English (rare in Raja Ampat) and he tries his best for you to have the best stay possible. Him and his family are super nice and welcoming while respecting your privacy. I came with a friend and we stayed 3 full days, we had an amazing time there and we can only recommend this place. All the activities we've done through them were memorable, we had a lot of fun. Have a good holiday there!
