The location is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for enjoying the incredible atmosphere of Raja Ampat. The food was also very tasty, but what we appreciated the most was how well everything was organized. Each room received its own portion of food, so there was always enough for everyone. Unlike some other places where food disappeared quickly because everything was shared between all guests, here we always had our designated meals and could eat comfortably without stress. The overall conditions were really good, especially considering the price. The quality-to-price ratio was simply perfect and we truly felt comfortable during our stay. “Beautiful and peaceful!”

Beautiful location, surrounded by a lagoon with many different species of fish. Great for snorkelling and kayaking. Food everyday was delicious and cooked fresh from local ingredients. Room was cleaned everyday.

“Amazing staff, house and the best local food”

The location, the staff and the food! We loved everything about this place. Especially all the local snacks that were freshly prepared every day. We had one of the bigger houses and enjoyed spending time on the deck, just reading and watching the fish. We did a manta tour with them and had a lot of fun with our guide Hannie who showed us all the good spots. Thanks again and we hope to come back one day

Stunning location, great amenities, delicious food

the owner and his familly are just great and lovely Aaron and Lil Aaron are a blast the place is just heavenly the cooking of the aunties is tastfull i.have been island hopping and needed to come to this place a few times in this month because of the relaxed vibe and love if been to many homestays this one is the best there is for me

If you’re lucky enough not to arrive on an overbooked day, the place is sheltered at the end of a small bay. It’s very beautiful

“Wonderful”

Lagoon setting is something different from normal house reef on coast - felt very peaceful and special. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely afternoon cakes brought to room. Easy to arrange boat trips via Patrick, who speaks English if your Bahasa is failing..

The host of this place is great. He's always available and will go above and beyond. The cabins are comfortable and clean. They are above the water and it's a nice quiet location. The food is amazing. There is plenty of food and a good variety. They deliver delicious snacks in the afternoon. They will organize day trips.

The position, huts, view, water around the hut, decking and mattress to chill on the decking and food were absolutely amazing at this place. We couldn’t have asked for more. The food was exceptional, particularly lunch and dinner. Breakfast was small and basic but that was fine. Our hut was cleaned so well when we were out which was a lovely surprise. All in all it’s a lovely

Friendly staff and great hospitality from the host, , the food was great, tq to Mr Patrick, mama Tua, Bobby and Andy.. I m having fun for fish spears and fishing with my little componion Mr Brian and Hendirk.

“Great Raja Ampat spot”

Great layout for the bungalows. The bungalows have two floors. The first floor back deck was nice and breezy to stay cool and the second floor was great to escape to if the wind picked up and you needed to stay inside out of the wind and rain.

Wonderful homestay with a great team who provide very nice snorkeling trips, good food, great bungalow with a view on the bay with many birds and fish. Baby sharks and walking sharks swim by every day and night and a wonderful view from the jetty, especially during sunset. Definitely like to go here again and recommend this homestay.

“Would go back in a heartbeat”

We absolutely loved our stay at Beser Bay. The bungalows are located in a beautiful spot, slightly tucked away but with amazing sunset views. The bungalows are large and spacious and very comfortable. Power is limited (6pm-midnight), but that’s plenty of time to re-charge phones, cameras, etc. We were always able to get good cell service (we had Telkomsel SIM cards). We loved how quiet it was here eg you don’t hear music from nearby villages etc so it’s very peaceful. The food was insanely good, to the point that if they released a cook book I would buy it. The food varied each night, with lots of veg cooked in different and delicious ways. Plenty of fish, plus eggs and chicken. Highlight were the 4pm snacks like cakes from the village or their home made chocolate donuts or banana puffs for breakfast. We never went hungry here..! Excursions were reasonably priced (bring a ton of cash) - we loved visiting Citrus Ridge and Aulin Reef were maybe the highlights. House reef is worth doing (we saw nudibranches) - hard to snorkel there at low tide but you just have to time when you go in and otherwise do excursions or just read a good book. We did the red bird of paradise tour from here - definitely worth it (just bring a ton of repellent). If you need to find more people for a tour, walk to the Homestay around the corner / rock and join their tours or get guests there to join yours. You also see baby rays and sharks swimming around the bungalows. Hosts were so lovely and friendly - we liked that they left us to ourselves most of the time but if we had questions or wanted a chat, so they were around.
