Location & views were excellent.

The staff at this hotel make all the difference, they are warm, friendly and fun. The breakfast is excellent.Try the beetroot cake, it's lovely. They have spent their money in all the right places, such as the mattress which was brand new and really deep. Best bed we've slept in on an extensive road trip. The building is old and interesting. Great view of the bridge. Free parking next door. Was sad to leave.

“A fab location and some nice facilities but needs some maintenance”

This is in a great location. Right by the famous bridge with lots of free public parking available. We were invited to help ourselves to tea and coffee and use available cutlery, glasses etc to have a picnic on the terrace.

Position next to the stone bridge. Building with character and history. Excellent breakfast. Very kind and helpful staff. There are no restaurants/bars open for dinner in town (we were told), so we were allowed to heat/eat our own food in the breakfast room.

The view was amazing. The room was as we expected. Cleanliness was excellent. When we did meet staff they were really nice people

A period building beautifully maintained. Our room was large, comfortable with two balconies overlooking the bridge. The staff were lovely, so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and plentiful. Overall a great place to stay to enjoy the historic town of Besalu.

Great location with a top view on the wonderful medieval bridge. Nice, spacious room with convenient bed. A great breakfast with local food was provided. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Booked the suite, very comfortable bed & good amenities. Hotel in a Perfect location, free parking literally yards away from the hotel, good friendly staff & would return!

The location is ubeatable! Right in the middle of the humdrum of the emblematic bridge. We had a great room, with 2 balconies overlooking the bridge. The views provided us daily entertainment with the many groups of tourists passing by. The room spacious and clean, even if a bit out of date.

“A characterful hotel in a great location”

The hotel has a huge amount of period character and is situated in a great location, peaceful and beautiful but only a few minutes walk from the centre of the town. Staff were attentive and friendly and the breakfast excellent with an extensive variety of food on offer.

The room was in an amazing historical house with a wonderful library and breakfast area. The bed was comfortable and soft and the heating was adjustable which was great.

Wonderful location just outside the bridge that takes you to the old city. Amazing views all along the property. Staff was amazing, proactively going above and beyond to solve an issue I had with Booking.com . Breakfast was superb and really worth the convenience of just walking downstairs in flip-flops. Will definitely come back. We were a family of 4 with two adults and two kids.

Incredible location with very kind people running the hotel. Beautiful town and I wish we stayed longer. The beds were great too - best night sleep that me and my partner had in a long time.
