Very nice and calm place, you get coffee and a little breakfast and the garden is beautiful. They also got a big gym area, where you can train for free. The owner and his wife are very nice people, i can only recommend their homestay👍

Candra is a very sweet host that welcomes her guests in the cabins in the middle of her beautiful garden (she also gave me some of her garden's fruit, delicious!). The view from the house is beautiful and just 5 minutes walk away from the Besakih temple

Very quiet place. The hosting family are very nice couple. They lent us traditional clothing called “sarog “, which you need to enter the temple. The accommodation is very nice and it is close to the Besakih temple, the base position to the Mont Agung volcano. We sleep in wood cabine with incredible wiew and amazing wiew and outdoor shower with hot water.

“Nice place in Besakih”
Proximity to the temple & Agung volcano (The volcano was closed during my visit, check it online before you go). The bed was confortable, the hot shower was nice too.

I booked a room, paid (!), came to the place and they said: sorry, someone else is living in your room. You could live in tent. What??? I drive 2,5 hours and now in hurry I have to find a new place for sleeping.

“Cozy bungalows sourrounded by a beautiful garden”
super friendly, attentive and welcoming host family - perfect location to visit mount Agung and Pura Besakih - for your tempel visit you can borrow sarongs for free - quiet and peaceful area - the spacious, clean wooden Chalet we were staying in was very cozy, equipped with a comfy bed, TV as well as speakers and offered two small terraces with a stunning view to Mount Agung on the one side and to the plain on the other side, the private bathroom including a shower (hot water) and toilet is located besides the chalet in an extra building - there is an outdoor kitchen with gas stove, so you could prepare your own meals (free water, coffee, tea, sugar and fruits) - beautiful surrounding garden with private temple, koi-carp pond and plenty seatings to enjoy the view and relax all in all we spent a great time at Candra homestay and I strongly recommend to stay here

“Hiking and relaxing in the beautiful green garden”
Beautiful green garden and cozy little huts; not too big not too small, just perfect. There is a shared kitchen with little snacks to buy. The hosts were very friendly!

“Great location, picturesque garden and accommodation, very helpful host.”
We stayed for 2 nights and rented 2 'cabins' and 1 wooden 'tent'. The tent had an outside bathroom and a toilet as did one cabin - the third had an ensuite bathroom, all with hot water. Small kitchen was handy for refilling the Aqua water and making coffee and tea (both provided), and a table with chairs for eating. The accommodation sits within a beautiful garden, clearly a result of the host's passion for flowers, trees and shrubs. A little pond full of koy carp who were keen to nibble our fingers, was a lovely feature. The rooms were comfortable and clean and as it's colder in Besakih than in the south, a fan was sufficient. The location is fantastic for exploring the temple complex. Lots of choice for food nearby and shops with souvenirs. The host was extremely kind, including lending us traditional Balinese blouses and sash. The temple guides and locals really appreciated us making an effort and dressing in a traditional way for the temple visit. Jana, Klara, Andy, Claire and Maya
