“Great place to stay for a couole of days”

HILDA! She was an amazing host. She did some washing for us. Helped and advised in every possible. The breakfast was excellent and we ate at Angelikas which was also excellent. We recommend doing a River Safari too. We found a local guide on the beach called Nimal who was great

Me and my family stayed in the first floor apartment for 6 nights. The apartment was good. It had comfortable beds, a good AC, a nice kitchen and a big balcony with a sea view. The breakfast is served in the beach café and was delicious. The location is perfect. The beach by the hotel is small and calm, protected by a reef, making it good for swimming and snorkeling. There are sunbeds available. Then there is a larger beach next by, that you can reach in just a few minutes walk, where the waves are high and good for surfing. There are plenty of restaurants on the beach, but it is also easy to take a tuk tuk to the city, takes about 5-10 minutes. Hilda, Tutu and the rest of the staff where amazingly kind and helpful, and made our stay here unforgettable.

We have stayed in Paradise Bay for the last two night of our trip in Sri Lanka, as we have traveled around the island by tuk tuk on ourselves. We chose the place, as it met our criteria - we wanted a front beach accommodation with terrace see view and beach, preferring a small hotel or apartment because of the privacy. And we have go that and even more. The Paradise Bay is an apartment is at a very cozy beach with small beach restaurants and shops. We had a sun beds prepared only for our needs, wonderful breakfast served only for us (that was included in the price), and we ordered a dinner in the restaurant that is run by the owner or the apartment. And the dinners were wonderful, as we had the table on the very front of the beach, facing to the sea, admiring the sun sets with light of the candles and very tasty food. I can mention, that that this place is between a 5 star hotels and the residents of the hotels com to the beach restaurants for lunch or dinner. The owner was very hostile, helpful and friendly, he speaks a very fluent English. He made everything to feel us comfortable and happy and gave some advises what to in the surroundings. We really enjoyed the stay in Paradise Bay despite the fact, this bay has suffered from tsunami an some buildings behind the apartment are still damaged or under reconstruction. But as I said before, our criteria was a front beach accommodation at a compatible price. Thank for the owner and we wish a good luck in development as the bay is really Paradise!

Very friendly family who helped us carry the luggage upon arrival. The chef prepared us a very good meal that we ate at the beautiful beach. Sri Lankan breakfast on the same beach was very tasty.

The place a very quiet here. Some Restaurants around. Supermarket some steps a way. The beach phantastic and you can free walk alot . The host Hilda is very very nice lovely person. You feel like a family staying. Every morning she makes me different kind of breakfast. Best coffee ever. Always she tried to make me an comfortable staying. The Family so lovely. I like them all. The flat are very big good for family's or groups. The family always help me if I need something or answer my question. Totally recommended this place. Sure I'm coming back to here. Thanku for all Hilda. Other recommendations is DE Silva very nice guy with an very good englisch. He drive me from colombo to beruwala and also possible to make with him some tours.
