Lovely historic hotel with modern comfortable rooms. The owners and all staff are very helpful and accomodating. The food, particularly the breakfast, was delicious. It's in a lovely location.and even though you can't park right next to the hotel the main town car park is nearby.

This old building had great character and the restaurant was superb. The rooms are in another modern building behind the main one, through a courtyard. Our room was small but very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Breakfast was good and staff were helpful. Dining was pleasant outside under the wisteria. Meal times were well planned. A good experience in a very old Hotel in the centre of bernkastel

Beautifully renovated hotel in an old town house with modern, well-equipped and very tidy rooms. Ground floor is a restaurant with an inner court which also serves as breakfast area. Friendly staff, adequate service - all good.

“A wonderful experience in the heart of Moselle wine country.”

The main hotel building is beautiful with lots of old wooden panelling and staircases. Our rooms were in the nicely refurbished annexe across the courtyard. Our evening meal was delicious with knowledgeable waiters giving good wine recommendations. The town is delightful.

Lgreat location, the dining room is very nice: old and quaint, comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast.

We stayed just overnight and it was good. The place’s decoration is very nice, a pity the restaurant was closed.

Room, was clean, quiet and straightforward nothing fancy, in a positive way. Staff were friendly and knew you by name, one staff member in particular, which is a first. Breakfast covered everything and was stripped back and not over the top. Location was excellent in the centre of the old town, but it had a calmness about it which made for a relaxed break. The old part of the building had great charm and character.

“Great stay for Christmas marked in Bernkastel Kues on the Mosel”

This place on the Mosel River is what you would imagine a German hotel in one of the villages would look like. It had old rafters that went up to the roof. Entry to the hotel was through the restaurant into a courtyard. The building was started around 1650 generally. Since we were there for Christmas market, everything was decorated brilliantly. The welcome was efficient and the property was spotless and well run. Breakfast was excellent. It was a German breakfast with meat, cheese, vegetables, fruit, jams and breads. But there was the addition of scrambled eggs and bacon. We loved this as we missed bacon and eggs. We love Mosel wine, so that was a plus. Overall, a great place to stay.
