We got in touch with the very friendly host through WhatsApp and she was waiting for us on arrival with the keys. She gave us a tour of the property which is actually the entire house including plenty of parking space. We picked this location, a very quiet Mosel village called Wehlen, on purpose as it is very quiet there. The house is an older building but has been tastefully renovated with respect for it's history, everything is in excellent condition, kitchen, bathroom, lounge area nice and modern, clean and everything is there. Outside there is a terrace behind the house with table and chairs (pillows provided) and there is a smaller covered terrace with table and chairs by the front entrance. The 2 bedrooms were spacious and the bed we used was very good. Plenty of storage space and electricity sockets. Wifi throughout the house but it works best on ground floor level. The well known town Bernkastel Kues is just a few kilometers away with it's castle, shops, restaurants etc. Ferienhaus Berute/Wehlen is a suitable starting point for many hikes in the area. there's plenty of tourist info (flyers) provided in the accomodation. Overall we were very satisfied and would/will definitely go back :)
