Absolute best location for first tracks and alpine ascents. The views of the glaciers and stars in the evening can't be topped! Will be back!

“Unique overnight stay while travelling on Bernina railway”

Stayed for 1 night as part of trip on Bernini red railway, wanted to stay somewhere unique and the Berghaus is reached by cable car so it was an adventure. Booked the hot tub as a special treat and it was amazing.

The wheather: it was too cloudy. It was bad luck.

Exceptional location at the heart of the Alps. Jacuzzi at 3000m on a sunny afternoon simply unforgettable

Wir hatten einen schönen Wochenende hier. The jacuzzi was super good with the view of mountains in the sunset light. Both dinner and breakfast were good. Staffs are beyond accommodating! More than happy to come back for sure.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings. I enjoyed the sunsets. I somehow didn’t know all my meals were included, so that was a pleasant surprise

Breakfast and dinner were delicious. I appreciated the flexibility of the staff with rebooking the jacuzzi for us late in the evening, given that we could not make it in time for our initial booking.

Pros: 1. Location! Just gorgeous 😍 2. Hotel was nice and staff were smiling, happy and helpful 3. Dinner was delicious. I am vegetarian. There was a strudel starter/appetiser which was shredded carrot and other veg wrapped in the softest flakiest pastry I've had in years, with a side of lambs lettuce and a few other big lettuce leaves topped with balsamic vinegar. Then there was delicious warm carrot soup. The main was a veg lasagne and it was ok. But i would have traded it for more strudel and soup. 4. The hotel is quiet, no church bells in the morning unlike everywhere else I've stayed in Switzerland. 5. This is the ultimate if you are looking to get far far away from it all. If you want to get away from people, from noise, from television, from civilisation..... This hotel is for you. 6. The room was so warm and cosy we had the window open all night (on january 1st!) (with subzero temperatures outside!) 7. Cable car tickets both up the mountain and back down were included in price of hotel room 8. Breakfast was good but no hot food. Both breakfast and three-course dinner were included in price of hotel room. We had to pay for bottle of wine of course. We do not recommend getting a second bottle as the air pressure will make you regret it! 9. The shower was good. Nice pressure, nice soap (don't recommend opening your soap as the air pressure makes everything explode lol)

Stayed in lovely comfortable double en-suite room, given water and apple p/p. 4 course meal delicious. Return cable car tickets included in price. Beautiful setting, perfect. Great VR experience. Lovely staff.

Amazing views, really comfortable beds, and a very good breakfast for a berghotel. Excellent location for various hiking plans. A nice souvenir / accessory shop. Cable car ticket (provided at least in 6/22) was a great additional value.
