“Fabulous Bed and Breakfast”
Beautiful old olive processing building converted into lovely bed and breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We could not of asked for anything more during our stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

“Luxury at budget price”
The room was huge. A small suite with kitchen and lounge area. Amazing bathroom. Beautifully appointed and every detail considered. Private garden area nd outdoor seating. Plentiful and tasty breakfast

“Beautiful old olive mill with amazing staff and incredible rooms”
Beautiful setting in a lovely little town. The rooms were really well finished and complete with everything we needed included a cot for our baby and great bathroom. The staff were absolutely incredible, helped us with so many things in the short period we were there.

This was one of the best places we've stayed in. Mimma could not have been more helpful. Her love of the city and its people was very apparent. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was DELICIOUS!! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family!!

“An oasis in Basilicata with easy access to Matera as well as the sea.”
This is a charming hotel located in an old olive-oil mill. The rooms are lovely with high ceilings and are quite spacious. The bathroom is equally charming. The breakfast was delicious with a large selection of local foods and baked goods.

It is clear that a lot of thought has been put into every detail at Borgo San Gaetano. The rooms and gardens are aesthetically pleasing and cozy at the same time. The breakfast was a generous spread of delicious local dishes both sweet and savoury. Everyone working at Borgo San Gaetano made us feel very welcome. We hope to return and recommend it to anyone visiting Bernalda!

“A great place from which to explore the town.”
The property is well located in the historic town. It is a beautifully restored building, with further improvements underway. The owner and staff were delightful and helpful, and had sent me some suggestions for places to park before I arrived. Free parking is available on the adjacent street. Breakfast provided a good choice with some local specialities available.
