When we arrived at 6 PM the hotel/restaurants was closed. Nobody to answer several phone calls. The reservation was confirmed by Booking.com. We had to find an alternative accomodation.

The hotel left a very pleasant impression, cozy, spotless, and tastefully decorated in an alpine style. The room features a comfortable bed, high-quality fixtures, and a “rain shower.” Breakfast was simply delightful: fresh bread with butter, flavorful cheeses, prosciutto, and excellent coffee with Cremo Lattesso cream. Everything is served with care and attention to detail. The restaurant’s wooden interior creates a warm Swiss chalet atmosphere, perfect for enjoying morning coffee while watching Bern wake up. The staff is polite and discreet, and everything runs smoothly. The location is convenient, a quiet area just a short distance from the city center.

The haus is very nice, alpine wooden style, chic and modern. The room was comfortable and nice with a beautifully renovated bathroom. The staff were very friendly and polite

Great hotel, a bit country house style, though located in Bern. Very individual (far from a franchise hotel chain), spacious rooms, excellent breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Parking onsite also great, as parking in Bern is an issue. A place where we arrived after long travels and immediately relaxed.

I had requested a baby cot in advance for our 6 week old. On the night we stayed it wasn’t in the room. We were told it would be solved. We chased staff 2 times. The bed never appeared.

“Perfect place for an overnight stay.”

Although we arrived late and stayed only one night before continuing our journey, we instantly wished we could stay longer. The hotel was cozy, welcoming, and very comfortable. We’ll definitely come back the next time we’re in Bern!

“Not recommend at all”

They double charged me and would not refund the money after reaching out several times. After having booking.com to get involved, they still did not refund me the amount that they charged me. The location was very far from the city even the bus stop was 4 minutes walk from the hotel. They have restaurant where they served breakfast downstairs which could be a bit noisy when it goes across from ground floor to top floor, and the rooms were on the first floor.

I always stay there when I'm travelling for business, the location is perfect for my purpose, the rooms are superb, and the restaurant is excellent, particurlarly when the weather is nice and you can eat outdoors.

Landhaus Liebefeld was recommended by my son - what a wonderful choice! The property offers a traditional restaurant and event space plus 6 guest rooms in a beautifully renovated building. My room was large and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the luxurious bathroom and excellent shower. Breakfast was excellent: a small selection of the highest quality local produce. The cheese cart was a fabulous idea! All staff members were very friendly and professional. So far, this has been the best experience on my big Europe trip. Thank you!

“Exceptional service and Unique experience”

The warmth of the stuff and the authentic local atmosphere of the hotel were undeniably exceptional!! Everything welcomed us with a huge smile and were accommodating for each request or changes. Royal treatment and perfection in every interaction with staff. We had dinner at their restaurant and it definitely didn’t disappoint and it was a curated experience. Would definitely recommend
