Overview
Located in the centre of Bern, Hotel National is only a 5-minute walk from the Main Train Station. Guests can dine in the restaurant and make use of free Wi-Fi. “Comfortable and convenient, good breakfast.”
I like the updated modernism of it. I love the old-fashioned lift but limited to three people could be problematic. Not for me as reception changed my 5th floor room to the 4th floor.

“A nice hotel in the centre of Bern”
The location is perfect and only 5 mins walk from the main station. There is a tram stop outside the hotel. The hotel also offers a free city ticket for use on public transport for all guests. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was also good

I really appreciate the location close to the train station and the city centre, and the public transportation is just in front of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was really good.

Very clean and comfortable room. Tea making facilities and toiletries in the bathroom was a nice touch. Breakfast was good, plenty to eat. Location was superb, very close to all the tram and bus stops.

Very nice hotel in an old-fashioned style and decor, but all interiors are new or renovated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location close to the train station and old town is very convenient.

“Great city break.”
Room were clean and spacious with high ceilings. Bed was a good size and comfortable. The antique (working) elevator was a fun addition to the overall feel of the hotel. Staff were very nice. Bern offers 2 days free public transport for all overnight guests.
