I liked the location. It is in a quiet area of Bern and close to the station, 15 Min. on foot or a few minutes by bus. The room and the communal shower were very clean. And at breakfast there was a great choice of food.

Hotel Marthahaus was very clean, the bed was comfortable and continental breakfast was good. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. It was close to the bus stop for the Bern railway station and a nice walk to the old town. There were a couple of restaurants nearby and a supermarket.

It is a beautiful accomodation, close to the city centre with a cute lil balcony. The staff members were extremely kind and welcoming. Breakfast spread was good and filling, with free coffee throughout the stay.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room with small balcony Complimentary 24 hour tea and coffee with homemade biscuits. Free public transport which was useful as the hotel is off centre.

Good location, very friendly staff, free tea/coffee, cosy apartment. There was a possibility to store luggage before check in and after check out. Bathroom is common for guests, but there were no problems using it.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The stuff gave me all the assistance I needed. The bed was comfortable , everything is very clean. Great to be able to make myself a cup of tea or coffee whenever I liked. Will definitely stay with them again.

“Very good value for money”

The property was within 2km of the train station which I walked. It was within 2km of the football stadium which I was visiting for a game, which again I walked. The Hotel interior and my room were clean, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Coffee was available 24 hours which I didn't partake, but it's always nice to have the option. Snacks and drinks were available 24 hours which was helpful when I returned late from the football and I was especially thirsty. Breakfast was excellent.

Marzia was incredibly nice and helpful when we checked in at the hotel! The breakfast was included with our reservation and it was a good complete European breakfast. We were also close to walking to get to the old town and to bus stops to get to the train station. The area was nice and quiet also.

I found this hotel is very cozy and comfortable for a single traveler like me. The neighbourhood is quiet and save and it is closer to bus/tram stop. I love the breakfast which is included in the price, especially the fresh morning Muesli that made with love. The most good thing that the bathroom is very clean as if nobody used it. The staff ladies on the receptionist are so heart warming and nice (hi Marcia! 😍). They help me with the bus route and lend me charger for my Iphone since I left it in the airport. It is so warm and comfortable working in the breakfast room that you can have free flow tea, coffee, hot chocolate with cookies (the best things that they have coffee machine). I would definitly come again for my next visit to Bern. I really love this hotel ❤️

“Just right in every way.”

I traveled with my 9 year old grandson, so it was pleasant to have the use of the breakfast room to play cards, etc. with a cup of hot chocolate after our daily outings. Staff was extremely helpful and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Although public transport was included and nearby, we walked almost everywhere from the hotel. It's very near Old Town, bears, etc.
