Overview
Situated in a historic building only 100 metres from the famous Zytglogge Tower, the Bern Backpackers Hotel Glocke can be found right in the centre of the city. It offers free WiFi in public areas and all rooms, 2 internet stations and a fully equipped kitchen for self catering use. You can choose from en-suite rooms, rooms with shared bathrooms or a single bed in a dormitory. The entire hostel is non-smoking. There is a big shared living room with kitchen and laundry facilities, a TV where films in English are shown every night, and a football table. Tea is available free of charge and kitchen facilities are provided. The Backpackers Glocke is a 10-minute walk away from the Bern Railway Station. Guests benefit from free public transport in Bern.

I loved this place. The staff was super kind and supportative. The rooms were clean as well as the shared spaces as the bathrooms, kitchen and living area. The place is so centric that is only few meters apart from the Zytglogge. I loved staying here and would do it again if I have the opportunity in the future.

“Its in the centre of Bern, 10 minutes walk from the station.”
I could borrow hairdryer on the reception. Room was very comfortable. Lockers are spacious enough and I dont need my lock.

Free muesli and free tea (even though it's written that there is no one) are awesome, the quality of wifi is great, I could have a zoom-meeting with 10 people in the evening on Friday and I had no problem, the shower is good and the water is warm and stable. A good thing for women - showers and toilets for women only, so it was very safe.
