Overview
This 5-star design hotel in central Berlin offers stylish studios and suites with kitchen facilities. It is located opposite the Sony Center in Potsdamer Platz and features an elegant spa, free WiFi and a double Michelin-star restaurant. Mandala Hotel’s non-smoking rooms and suites offer views of the courtyard or the modern buildings at Potsdamer Platz. They are all located on the quiet upper floors of the building and feature a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and luxury linen and bedding. The modern ONO wellness area includes a fitness lounge. Massages and beauty treatments are also available. The FACIL restaurant is listed in Gault Millau, and has now also just been awarded 2 Michelin stars for 2016. It offers a daily breakfast and a range of gourmet evening meals. Drinks and snacks can be enjoyed in the QIU Restaurant & Bar, or outside on the summer terrace. Brandenburg Gate is a 10-minute walk from the hotel, and Potsdamer Platz Station is just 100 metres away.

“More Like A Motel Than A 5 Star Hotel”
The breakfast area was beautiful but the actual things on offer were quite sparse and the food in the buffet was not labelled. The room was spacious.

“Excellent hotel.”
Clean, Spacious and comfortable room for 3 adults. Best location to Berlin Philharmonie. Good mall behind the hotel for food and other essentials. Fabulous breakfast. Staff was courteous and professional.

Close Proximity to the Berlin Philharmonie. Excellent mall with good food offerings behind the hotel. Lovely breakfast. Good range.

A few things I didn't like enough. The bathroom door didn't fit together and therefore couldn't be closed completely. The shower wasn't good enough and the water pressure in the shower wasn't great. Also, electrical appliances like the hair dryer could be upgraded.

“Fabulous Berlin base”
loved loved loved the Mandala Berlin - in Potsdam Platz perfect for exploring whole city and brilliant airport train access. We had a spacious suite which was immaculate - excellent bedding/towels, walk in wardrobe, palatial bathroom and living area - brilliant blind system. Lighting is also worth a mention - works flawlessly which is strangely rare in hotels. Housekeeping top notch pristine great. Beautiful sauna and spa area too. Front desk staff terrific, taxi rank out the front and food and bev, including Michelin star restaurant mean that interesting locals use the hotel too.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast was very good, and the room was very clean. Our room also had a kitchen, although we didn’t end up using it.

“Very nice stay in Berlin”
Very nice and comfortable hotel with very spacious rooms. Parking directly underneath the hotel, very nice breakfast. Proximity to public transport at Potsdamer Platz was very convenient.

“Fabulous”
Staff were fabulous. They remembered who you were, you likes, everything happened seamlessly. They were clearly happy in their work. Nothing was to big ( or too small) to solve. They met and soled every request. I really can not fault anything. Fabulous location. room was well equipped and massive.. My 8 year old daughter got a basket from the Easter Bonney whilst we were at breakfast. 100% made her stay and therefore ours.
