“Exactly what you need for a couple days in Berlin”

To be honest, we (young couple early 30s) booked through booking.com and were more than satisfied with this. We had the private room, with private bathroom and even a private little kitchen + a balcony. It was spacious, clean, it had all the amenities that were listed, the checkin proces was super smooth - maybe the pillows were a bit flat and it can get a little noisy (but you’re in berlin, come on) but that’s about it. If you want peace and quiet, you can stay outside of berlin 😅 It’s exactly what you need for a couple of days of sightseeing, party and wandering around the city. Right below is a brunch place with amazing food and there are so many other food spots from walking distance. I honestly don’t understand why so many people complain. Yes it’s not a luxurious stay, but you KNOW that since you pay the most minimal price for it, so what do you expect? If you want luxury, be prepared to pay triple the price if not more. I was hesitant before arriving because of all the bad reviews, but we were super happy afterwards. It’s Berlin after all, it completely fits the Berlin vibe. People were nice, there is a little corner store open at night with everything you need + an ATM. The U bahn (subway/tram) is a couple minutes walking distance. If you don’t want to pay crazy high prices for hotelrooms and still want to be quite central - this is your place.

“Super good for value”

The bed was very comfortable and the room had a lot of storage space. While there is no AC, a fan helped to keep the room cool. The outlets were in good spots. I had a half body mirror in the room, which I appreciated not having to go to the shared bathrooms. Rooms 9-14 had 2 toilets and a shower, but I never had conflicts with anyone when trying to use it. Overall I'm happy with the value for the price :)

Good location close to train stations, easy check in process, great facilities and good value for money.

It was a little difficult finding the apartment, but we were assisted promptly. The space was clean and cosy and the neighbourhood was a great highlight as there were very nice eateries around by. Overall the experience was great :)

All round this was such a great stay. I initially met the service staff when I arrived and they were brilliant. The apartment was excellent. Spacious bedroom with large, comfortable bed and a settee. Kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils and a bathroom with lashings of hot water. I liked the area. Close to the U2 line and walking distance to supermarkets and bars and eateries. Plus it was great value

The location of the place was very good, right next to Nollendorfplatz metro station, which made getting around the city very easy. The rooms, bathrooms, toilets, and kitchen were all clean. Housekeeping came every day, which helped maintain the cleanliness throughout our stay. There are two bathrooms and two toilets for seven rooms. At first we were worried that it might not be enough, but in practice it worked out just fine. One of the things I appreciated most was the good sound and heat insulation, which made the room comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was also well equipped with basic items such as a kettle and a microwave. However, interestingly, there was no stove available for cooking. We stayed in a triple room, but only one key was provided. This was a bit inconvenient because all doors are opened with keys rather than codes, so coordinating entry was sometimes difficult when returning separately. The most disappointing part of the stay was the very weak Wi-Fi connection. Even after I contacted them via WhatsApp, I did not receive any response. This is the main reason for my lower rating. Apart from that, considering the price and overall experience, it is definitely a place I would recommend for good value.

Terrible Experience – Misleading Listing and Poor Conditions The apartment I was given was completely different from what was advertised. There was no balcony, despite this being clearly stated in the listing. The toilet ran constantly, and the mattress was heavily stained, including a large brown stain that made it feel unhygienic and unusable. I am attaching a few pictures to illustrate the apartment conditions. After check-in, the host stopped all communication and offered no assistance or resolution to these issues. I immediately checked-out and contacted support. While Puschkin Rooms / Pension Puschkin may appear fairly priced and well located, I cannot recommend staying here. Unfortunately, this experience significantly impacted and ruined my Berlin vacation.
