“A charming, well-located hotel, but not ideal with heavy luggage.”

The best thing about this hotel is its location. Wittenbergplatz station, served by both the U-Bahn and buses, is just a short walk away, making it very convenient for getting around Berlin. KaDeWe, one of Berlin’s most famous department stores, is right across the street, and there are many restaurants nearby, so it is also very convenient for shopping and dining. The room was spacious, with a high ceiling, which gave it a pleasant feeling of openness. The building itself is old, but that is also part of its charm. As the name of the hotel suggests, it retains a classic European atmosphere, which I personally enjoyed. I would also like to mention that the gentleman at the reception was extremely kind and helpful.

Fantastic location for shopping and sightseeing alike - U Bahn stop is just in front. Basic, but clean and tidy. Breakfast is fine too.

The location of the hotel is top tier. The guests have two lines of metro to choose. It is also very nearby the night life attraction at the Nollendorfplatz.

Good location (proximity to public transport). Helpful staff, perfectly friendly. Breakfast usual German fair - bread rolls, cheese, cold meats, yoghurts. They did let us store our luggage on our check out day which was very helpful.

Location was excellent, Breakfast was good. Rooms and amenities are old but usable. The staffs were cordial and helpful. All the important places are accessible by the U-Bahn and this hotel is just opposite to the Wittenbergplatz U-bahn station

It is a lovely place next to KaDeWe, Ku damm, Berlin Zoo and beuatiful Wintermarket. Close to the hotel You will find bus stops (also "hip on hop off bus"), underground. Everything in the hotel is clean. The bed cloths were changed after 2 days, rubish were removed every day. The breakfast is included in the price and available from 7.30 to 10.00 o'clock. You will not get the scrambled eggs or any warm dishes (warm is only coffe, tea and tosts) but it is really a wide range of many things to eat so it is not a problem. Everything was fresh, tasty and You can eat or drink how much You want. The coffe, tea and cookies are available 24 hours. It is a Little bit far from Alexanderplatz but we love walking so it was the opportunity to see a lot of attractions in the city. Of course You can buy Welcome to Berlin card and travel everywhere, where You want, even to Potsdam (Berlin Zoo bus).

Excellent choice for this price. I definitely didn’t expect breakfast included for the price I paid. The location is very convenient, staff is helpful and friendly.

Great location, the center of Berlin is less than 20 minutes away by subway. The Wittenbergplatz is a nice square with lots of shops, there's a grocery store right next to the hotel. Breakfast was included in the price. Official breakfast times are 7:30-10:00, arriving after 9:30 I was pleasantly surprised that staff kept refilling food items up until 9:50, and didn't mind anyone staying past 10 in the breakfast room.

“Fab stay in Berlin.”

Fantastic location, right next to the Christmas market, 50m to the Ubahn, eateries and the impressive dept store KaDaWe. Very good value for money. Spacious room, and the staff were really accommodating and even sent me flowers on my birthday ☺️
