The room we checked in to had an extremely heavy cigarette smell, windows all closed and bedsheets with stains. We arrived late and were exhausted, so we asked in the morning to change into a clean non-smelling room and were told there we no empty rooms, despite confirming through their own website that in fact there were many available. They offered to deep clean the room that day, and did so. The sheets were changed and the smell was somewhat lighter, but it still smelled heavily of cigarettes. And for non-smokers that was a nightmare. We couldn’t sleep most of the night. Furthermore, there was no mini fridge available to keep/purchase cold beverages. We stayed in this hotel for 5 days. I wouldn’t come back or recommend it to anyone, as the price we paid did not match the quality of our experience.

The location was very convenient for visiting Berlin and close to public transport stations for U-Bahn and S-Bahn. I did not hear any noise from the street because the windows are isolating the noise very well.
