Big building with hundreds of rooms, very high people flow. Nevertheless, the room is good and for the lucky ones the windows are facing the internal yard (less noise then the ones looking at the street). Big breakfast space. The quality of the meals is good, better then expected considering the volume of people.

Friendly staff, rapid response to questions before arrival, gestures of kindness (water in the room, coffee and tea), good and fast wifi, great choice for breakfast, cosy bar with friendly and professional staff. Loved the artwork in the room and bathroom. Easy access by tram.

“Good quality/price”
Clean and even if located in the centre, was very well soundproofed. There was a tablet in the hotel where you could contact reception/room service etc.

“Sorry your room is no longer available, you can sleep on the streets”
We made the booking over booking.com and chose to pay at the property. I secured the booking using my credit card. However, when we were on the plane, it turns put that they tried to charge my credit card and my card as it is not a German card, declined this as suspicious activity. When we landed, we came across email saying get in touch with us within one or pay. Then while at the airport, I texted them via whatsapp as they were also reaching me out through there. On whatsapp, it was said your reservation is secure and personally received. Then we took a train from thw airport and then walked 15min from the Alexander platz (it is far from Alexander platz although the name suggests!). We showed our reservation and Id, then they said that your reservation is cancelled as no payment could be received!! We chose the option to pay at the property and provided the card info as securing the booking and provided estimated arrival! They said our room is no longer available. They had super unfriendly staffs and they had no means of helping us or understanding. It is a shame for this hotel. It was close to midnight and they left us stranded. We had to leave there and find another hotel with our own efforts!!! Total disappointment with its location, payment methods and unfriendly and unsympathetic staffs

Good connectivity due to proximity to Alexander Platz. Not much immediately outside the hotel, but there are cafes and Späti around volkspark if you go past the hotel in the direction away from Alexander Platz. Hotel was perfect for us, even though we didn't spend much time in it because we were exploring. But it was a comfortable place to return to every night and rest up. We didn't make use of the facilities or the breakfast so can't comment. It's well placed to get to Alexander Platz and Potsdama Platz as central hubs, and also museum island. You can also get to Friedrichshain easily, and Prenzlauer Berg is within walking distance.

Great location, close to Alexanderplatz. Easy access from the airport. There were restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets close. The staff was great. And we could leave our luggage there before check in. The hotel is very clean and cozy.
