Overlooking the River Spree, this boutique hotel on Berlin’s famous Friedrichstrasse Shopping Street offers elegant rooms and excellent transport connections. Free WiFi is provided in all areas. Rooms at Hotel Neuer Fritz are classically furnished. Each has a large flat-screen TV and work desk, and a spacious bathroom with hairdryer. The building boasts Plattenbau architecture, and was one of the last built in the former East Germany. Trains, trams and buses run from Friedrichstrasse Station, 300 metres away. From here, guests can reach Alexanderplatz and the Brandenburg Gate in just 5 minutes. Bicycles tours run from directly outside the hotel, and bikes can be rented at Hotel Neuer Fritz.

“Great location and helpful staff, but the room comfort and furniture quality low”
The best thing about the hotel was definitely its location and proximity to the metro station. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the room was clean. The hotel was also conveniently located close to many attractions and places around the city.

We stayed in one of the suites after a very kind upgrade from the staff, the suite was so lovely, the view was incredible and we were very happy there. The location of the hotel was perfect, I dont know if it could have been better.

The suite had a balcony that overlooked the Spree and the tower. Location was great, very central. The attached Italian restaurant was great for evening meals and good value, though the breakfast did not feel like value. The room was very spacious.
