Overview
This hotel is located in a quiet side street in the Kaulsdorf district of Berlin, near the B1 road and a 10-minute drive from the A10 motorway. Hotel B1 offers free WiFi as well as free parking. All rooms are non-smoking and feature a flat-screen TV with international channels, windows that open, a wardrobe, bedside table and a modern bathroom with shower. Guests also enjoy 15 minutes of free in-house calls or free landline telephone calls within Germany. A rich breakfast buffet is available at the B1 every day. Guests are welcome to use an internet terminal for free in the lobby, or relax and smoke in the bar with a free pool table and large flat-screen TV. Snacks and drinks can be purchased at the vending machine 24 hours per day. In warm weather, guests are welcome to have breakfast or enjoy evening drinks in the garden. The Kaulsdorf S-Bahn (city rail) station is just a 15-minute walk or 3-minute bus ride from the Hotel B1. Direct trains take you to the famous Alexanderplatz square in 25 minutes. The Welcome Card is sold at reception, offering public transport and discounts on sights in Berlin.

Very nice quiet area of Berlin! 30 min max with transportation from Alexanderplatz! The room was big enough, very clean and with all i needed for a comfortable stay! Very quiet as well! Got few restaurants and a supermarket under the hotel!

“One of the best experiences regarding value for money”
It's a good value for money option. Well automated procedures of check in and check out - you can do it without staff, that's amazing! Also you have door access in the app during your stay - that's really cool!

The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Just 200m for a bus stop that would easily connect you to the U-bahn or S-Bahn in Berlin.

“B1 basic hotel”
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Lidl and Aldi 5 minutes walk away and travel into city really easy.

“We didn’t felt safe!”
So we stayed 2 nights in this hotel, bear in mind that there’s no staff most of the time and if yes, they don’t speak English, but that’s not the issue. The 2nd night at 4:50 a.m. aggressive fist knocking and pulling door handles woke us up. They didn’t say what they need, just two men speaking German between themselfs. The door didn’t have a peephole, so we couldn’t check. They kept trying to get into the room until they violently opened the door. They came to our bed, without even turning the lights on, they shone flashlights in our eyes and shouted German. Then they started to laugh at us. Turned out they were dressed as policemen. We still don’t know the reason of this invasion. My boyfriend and I are decent people and didn’t create any noise or problems, just sleeping. We really left traumatized after this bad experience and we had to take days off to recover. I’m still terrified. Female and solo travelers be cautious as this is very suspicious and alarming. They might be fake policemen as anyone can enter the object, a robbery/assault can happen.

There's no water bottle or kettle not provided. There is no staffs on reception for the 4 days . But overall experience is good.
