“I don’t like to be scammed.”
It was a scam. We pulled up at a bad looking shisha bar, was shouted at by the main guy to fill in a form with more details even though I’d already paid.

“If your looking for some where cheap and cheerful that can manage all your needs this is place. Even though it’s on top”
Friendly staff. My room had everything I needed and everything stated online was provided. The train station and local shops and mall are only a 3 minute walk away. Berlin central is 8 mins away on the train. My double room with small kitchen area and fridge was identical to the photos online.

Reception doesn't speak any English at all!!! Bedrooms are fine, however bathrooms are not on a decent level.

“Short stay but would recommend”
Room was spacious and had everything we needed for two nights. The location was great and gave us a chance to look at other areas of Berlin. We were able to hire a bike using the app and we went around Spandau and saw more than what we would have done on foot. I highly recommend hiring a bike, it was max 15 euro for the whole day!!!!! We didn't really see the owners which suited us fine and we didn't need to contact them for anything. Other reviews have mentioned bad smelling drains which we only noticed maybe once or twice but that's Berlin and not a reflection on the hotel. There weren't many plug sockets but again that is Berlin and how things are which we have noticed when we have stayed else where. Bed was comfy and our room faced on the street so we heard traffic but no parties or excessive noise. We slept well and the facilities were as described. There is a large Turkish community around Spandau which we only noticed due to the food in the supermarkets but again it met our requirements and everyone was super friendly. I'd stay there again and recommend it.

Only a quick overnight stay, close to Spandau station. Concessions to get breakfast are available on the station. Delayed arrival but keys left in key safe.

“You get what you pay for - cheap”
2 sachets of coffee in room - these were not replaced throughout the stay. The only staff I saw were on arrival - it felt like I was intruding on a guys night out - bar downstairs full of rowdy turkish guys watching TV and playing cards. No change of towels in bathroom throughout stay
