Good facilities

We liked the most the interior design and colours.

I appreciate the fact that, upon request, they prepared warm gluten-free buns and respected my request to have a gluten-free menu.

Loved the balcony and the room

The hotel was located at a very convinient place with easy parking options, calm and friendly and safe neighbourhood. The room was spacious, beds very comfortable and everything was clean. The staff allowed me to work on my laptop from the restaurant after check out. This was great experience, if I come to Berlin again I come to this hotel.

“Not the best experience”

Could be a nice hotel if it will be refurbished. Looks very old and needs repainting and modernising. One suit had no curtain, other one had no proper cupboards or sitting area. Bed not only not comfortable but too big for the room. Was not cleaned properly, not only very late( 3 pm) but the bathroom was not clean at all! The suits!? Have only a bath that even my husband who is very tall had a problem getting in and out. Not to mention the extreme problem I had as a disabled person. The staff was very nice apart from the housekeeping. Location was good for us but not if you want to tour historic Berlin. I would not grade it 4*

“Excellent hotel”

It’s not in the centre of Berlin and it’s a plus! The neighbourhood is clean, green and beautiful and the only “noise” that would wake us up in the mornings were birds singing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have specially good memories of Luca and Roxy from the reception. The breakfasts are excellent. The swimming pool is nice and cozy. I definitely recommend the hotel and if I ever come to Berlin, I’ll stay at Bernstein Hotel Villa Kastania again!

The hotel is as efficient as any "big chain" hotel, but has kept the family-run feeling, very helpful and friendly staff. The pool and spa facilities are excellent and better than I would expect in a hotel this size, a real bonus!

A nice bottle of water in the room as a welcome gift. The bathroom was very large, clean, and the room was nicely decorated. The terrace was lovely, warm, and quiet. The staff were punctual and helpful.
