Our host Kevin was very communicative - gave us info on the area and went out of his way to ensure that we were sorted out. the property is lovely and leads straight onto the mountains which makes walking etc very easy. All in all I would certainly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great country escape.

The house is in an excellent location almost at the end of the road leading up to the central Cathkin Drakensberg with great views. It's easy to start walks from here and you can join many well marked trails. Very comfortable 4-bedroom house (double-beds in all) with working Wifi and fully equipped kitchen. Host was on call for anything we needed and very attentive. You also have access to Drakensberg Sun for pool, etc. Lovely to have zebra visit the house and we saw Blesbok, Wildebeest, baboons, monkeys and small buck close by; and lots of birds of prey in the air above.

Clean and comfortable. Back garden opens up into the mountains, stunning location. Zebra, birds and buck were a daily sighting just a stones throw from the gardens

We had the most amazing stay at Misty Peaks! Kevin was an exceptional host - welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The house was cozy and comfortable, with spacious rooms and a fireplace that made it perfect for a winter weekend. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the location couldn’t have been better, you can step right outside and head straight into nature for beautiful walks. Truly a memorable getaway!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, beautiful hiking trails from your door, gorgeous views and grazing zebras in the garden. Communication with Kevin was excellent; he was super responsive and helpful throughout. The house itself was super comfortable and thoughtfully equipped - a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Misty peak accommodation exceed all my expectations. Stunning views of beautiful scenery. Breathtaking Misty mountains in the mornings. Beautifully decorated bedrooms with comfortable beds in each room. A fully equipped kitchen with appliances. BBQ facilities with undercover parking. Zebras visiting in the mornings. Would definitely recommend Kevin's accommodation. He is an expectional host always checking up on us from time to time. An amazing stay at Misty peak.

The hiking trails start literally a few steps from the the front door. Kevin from time to time checked up via what's app to ask if we need anything. Highly recommended.

“Wonderfully quiet 2 day stay”

The Berg is aways beautiful, and the location of Cloudlands was just perfect - high on the ridge, beautiful open views and stunningly quiet. Kevin was extremely attentive and helpful even though we didn't get to meet him this time around.
