“Highly recommend the accommodation for a perfect stay in lovely Bergerac.”

From being picked up and dropped off at the airport for our return by Chris who is a friendly,easy going helpful man everything was perfect. Accommodation which is quaint and quirky is in the heart of the historic centre and opens out to a nice quiet square with seating. Plenty restaurants,bars and shops in the vicinity. Nice walks by the river. We received chits to collect baguettes and pastries each morning from the pattesserie nearby. We appreciated all the refrigerated items and tea and coffee etc. that Chris also provided. He is a Superhost !

“Historic Property in a Fabulous Location”

The location of this apartment is on the prettiest, most historic square in Bergerac . All the builfings around the square date to the 16th century - older than the history of my home country. The apartment was compact, but had everything that was needed during our stay. Paid and free parking is nearby, as are restaurants, shops and the old centre of town. Loved the whole vibe of the location and Chris was wonderful to deal with. Nothing was a problem.

Character and location

“Perfection - I loved everything about it, and can't wait to come back again!”

Absolutely perfect location on a quiet, pedestrianised square. There is a cafe nearby, with outdoor tables, so a lovely murmur of conversation during the day and early evening, and very quiet after it had closed.

Fresh bread and croissants from a local bakery provided by host. Centrally situated in the old town close to all amenities, restaurants, river etc. Christophe was a charming host, willing to oblige in any way.

It’s in a perfect location in the old town in a beautiful square, Chris is a fabulous host even giving a lift back to the train station.Breakfast was fantastic from the bakery each morning- loved it all!

Loved the quirky nature of the studio - it had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Location fabulous, right in the middle of the old town, overlooking a pretty square and very close to the river, bars and restaurants. It is also within easy walking distance of the Saturday market and more bars and restaurants! We really appreciated the free airport pick up and drop off, and the complimentary breakfast items.

The host was a charming chap and we liked him a lot. The bed linens, towels, tea towels were all clean and fresh and smelled lovely. The breakfast vouchers were great and we made good use of them, collecting bread and pastries from the little bakery. The groceries, butter, milk etc left in the little fridge were a nice touch. We picked the accommodation because it was located right in the heart of the old town which we wanted to explore.

Our charming host Chris, met us at the airport and helped us into the property. It was quirky which suited us well. It was in an excellent location and getting breakfast from the bakery around the corner was easy. Bergerac was a sleepy little French town with lovely wandering alleyways and bistros and cafes.

Location superb. Christophe picked us up at the airport and took us to the station on the day we left. He was so relaxed and helpful.

The location is superb. Chris is an excellent host, offering airport pick up and drop off and delivering delicious fresh croissants and baguette daily.

Great location in the old town, plenty of restaurants nearby. Lovely, quirky and spacious apartment with lots of character. Good WiFi. Chris was an excellent host who met us at the airport and even brought it us fresh croissants for breakfast each day. Would certainly stay there again if ever in Bergerac.

Everything, it is a great location. Lovely little touches with items in the fridge and chits for the bakery. The building was very quaint, being that it is so old. Chris was a great host. He even picked us up from the train station. The stay could not have been better.
